The case of Luong Hai Nhu: Mysterious disappearance for more than 1 year has the latest information, the family painfully speaks out

After more than 1 year of searching, the disappearance case of Luong Hai Nhu (SN 1999, native of Chuong My, Hanoi) has been informed of the latest developments by Hanoi police. Currently, this is still a case of great interest to the public because of many unsolved mysterious details.

According to information from Tuoi Tre, in the afternoon of October 2, at the press conference of the Ministry of Public Security, representatives of Hanoi City Police informed about the mysterious disappearance of Luong Hai Nhu girl (23 years old, from Chuong My, Hanoi).

According to Hanoi Police, this agency has made a decision to search for Luong Hai Nhu to the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security and the police of provinces and cities to take many professional measures.

The results of taking the testimony of some of Luong Hai Nhu's relatives, determined that on the evening of July 14, 2022, Nhu made an appointment to meet her boyfriend Tong Nguyen Tien to resolve the debt, but then the family could not contact her.

Verification on Tong Nguyen Tien's side, authorities determined that around 7 p.m. on July 14, 2022, Tien returned to his hometown. The next day, Tien went back to the motel room and showed signs of psychological abnormality, then went out, so his roommates went to look for him. However, when relatives found him, the young man was dead.

Regarding the investigation activities, Hanoi police said that they have reviewed and collected image data extracted from cameras on the roads related to the movement of Luong Hai Nhu and her boyfriend.

Hanoi police also organized the identification of human images in the data extracted from the camera, searched around the scene of Tien's hostel area and used sniffer dogs to search for objects at some locations related to Tien in Hoai Duc district, Chuong My.

As a result of the search, the police seized many properties of Luong Hai Nhu.

However, up to now, Hanoi City Police have not discovered any more valuable information directly related to Hai Nhu's whereabouts. Therefore, the Hanoi City Police do not have sufficient grounds to make a decision to prosecute or not to prosecute criminal cases according to regulations.

On 21/11/2022, due to the expiration of the prescribed verification period, the Hanoi City Police issued a decision to temporarily suspend the handling of criminal sources for Hai Nhu's father's application.

However, investigators are still coordinating with authorities to find the whereabouts of the 23-year-old girl. When grounded, the source settlement will be restored.

After information from the authorities, Luong Quynh Nhu, Luong Hai Nhu's biological sister, also said that the family is now very helpless, after more than 1 year, the pain of losing a loved one is still there, everything is like it happened yesterday.

"The only thing my family needs is to find my sister, even if the worst situation is only 1 piece of bone, it is better than the scene of my child lying cold and hidden somewhere" - Luong Quynh Nhu shared.

According to Luong Quynh Nhu, on the night Hai Nhu went missing, the camera in the alley where the boyfriend lived recorded the guy carrying a large sack to leave. Hai Nhu's motorbike was later found in the area near her boyfriend's hostel. During the search, the girl's bags, slippers and other belongings were also recovered in the river area.

It is known that when Hai Nhu was found missing, the family actively searched and had the support of functional forces as well as rescue groups. Because there is no information, the family members set up an altar and make offerings to Hai Nhu to hope that in the worst case, the girl is not lonely and cold.

Around 9pm on the same day, Quynh Nhu (Hai Nhu's sister) could not contact her sister, so she suspected something was wrong. In addition, Quynh Nhu tracked the location on her phone and saw unusual signs when her sister changed locations continuously.

On the positioning, Hai Nhu moved from Tien Phuong commune, Chuong My district to Cu Son bridge area, Van Con commune, Hoai Duc district, and then disappeared. The family said that before her disappearance, Hai Nhu and her ex had many conflicts about money and feelings.

On July 27, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City Police Hanoi makes a decision to search for missing people with signs related to crime.

On September 15, 2022, authorities arrived at the location of Hai Nhu's ex-boyfriend's house to conduct an investigation. Police also led sniffer dogs to search for the 23-year-old's whereabouts, but there are still no positive leads.
