However, just after moving here, in May 2024, the actor passed away. Although he was quickly taken to the emergency room by his friends, he did not survive due to a heart attack.

Four months after her husband passed away, Binh Phuong had a harder time taking care of her daughter alone. In September 2024, she brought her daughter back to Vietnam for the first time.
