Huynh Tran Y Nhi and 107 contestants of Miss World 2025 have just gone through the Miss Charity sub-contest. In this competition, the beauties introduced their charity projects and the messages of the projects.
During the gala night announcing the results of the Miss Charity contest, on the evening of May 26, Huynh Tran Y Nhi appeared gorgeous in a classic silver strapless evening gown with prominent and sparkling patterns.
With the Open Books - Open Dreams project, building a community library to bring knowledge to students in remote areas, Y Nhi was named in the top 8 outstanding humanitarian projects at the Miss World 2025 contest.
The Vietnamese representative emotionally recounted the journey of implementing the project, which started with a renovation of an old school. However, after listening to the children share their dreams, Ã Nhi understood that the difficulty lies in the limitations of facilities and especially the limitations of awareness and belief in education.
Since then, she has been determined to build open libraries to help children access books, broaden their vision of the future, orient their careers and embrace technology. The project has attracted the attention of the online community and has donated many books to children in the highlands.
On stage, Ã Nhi also thanked the President of the Miss World Organization for creating the Beauty With a Purpose platform, giving girls like her the opportunity to contribute to the community.
à Nhi is one of two Miss Charity representing the Asia-Pacific region. In the end, the Indonesian representative won this competition and got a ticket straight to the top 40 finalists. Before that, she also won the Miss Talent competition and had the chance to go straight to the top 40 before the finals.
At the end of the event, 4 contestants won Miss Charity and entered the final top 40 including: Indonesia, Puerto Rico, Uganda, Wales.
The Indonesian representative brought the Pipeline for Lifeline project with the hope of bringing clean water and basic sanitation to the people of Kampung Ciseke village.
Miss Puerto Rico presents her project Communicating without limits, which aims to create an inclusive society where everyone is heard and respected. She also organizes awareness campaigns, inclusive theater performances, and art activities for the deaf.
Miss Uganda brings social concern to a project to support children with autism. Natasha has implemented practical community programs, providing emotional and educational support, contributing to changing social perspectives on autism.
Miss Wales talks about training young people in basic first aid skills to save lives in emergency situations, inspiring young people to love and care for those around them.
Although à Nhi did not win the Miss Charity competition, her achievement of being in the top 8 outstanding charity projects is also a motivation for the Vietnamese beauty in the final stage of the Miss World 2025 contest.
In the online voting of Miss Media, the Vietnamese representative is in the final top 3. Winning this round, Y Nhi also has the opportunity to enter the top 40 of this year's contest.
Last year, Vietnam's representative - Mai Phuong - also entered the top 40 finalists thanks to winning the Miss Media awar.d.
From India, Y Nhi shared her ho.t story about her journey at the competition. She said she wanted to bring the crown back to her country: "I think every representative who competes sets the goal of achieving the highest results, and I am no exception. But besides that, my journey at Miss World is also an opportunity for me to grow, learn and discover myself.
I hope to not only stop at the results on stage but also spread positive values, inspire and connect meaningfully with people, helping me become a better version of myself."
