4 Vietnamese beauty queens got into trouble with the law before Thuy Tien, one of them was sentenced to 15 years in prison

On the evening of May 19, the Ministry of Public Security issued information on the prosecution and temporary detention of Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Grand International 2021) for the crime of "Deceiving customers", stipulated in Clause 2, Article 198 of the Penal Code, as an accomplice of the defendants of Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company.

Four years later, Tram Bui was caught up in the law and sentenced to three months in prison when local authorities accuse.d her and her husband, Keith Ly, of growing marijuana in the gardens of three homes in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington.

Tuyet Nga was born in 1961, graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, won the Miss Successful Lady awar.d in 2009. Then, in 2012, she continued to be crowned runner-up at the Miss Vietnam Global pageant in the US.

In April 2013, Tuyet Nga was arrested for fraud and property appropriation while she was the General Director of Vu Anh International General Hospital Company Limited. In July 2014, she was sentenced to 15 years in prison and ordered to return 3.1 million USD that she had appropriated from customers through "ghost" real estate projects.
