American billionaire 'relaxed' in the middle of the lawsuit, 'on the mic' attracted attention for 'reminding' Mr Dam?

On the evening of December 31 (Vietnam time), Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Richard Williams and singer Bich Tuyen held a party at Newport Beach, with the participation of family and close friends. Currently, the lawsuit has two main files. The first is Dam Vinh Hung's lawsuit demanding compensation from Gerard Williams of 50 million USD. The second is Gerard Williams' cross-lawsuit against Dam Vinh Hung, accusing him of negligence and destruction of property, demanding symbolic compensation of $1 and $1 in court costs.

Gerard Williams' 34-page lawsuit, which was filed in California Superior Court on Dec. 2, and added 338 pages of documents on Dec. 9. These documents include messages, images, emails, etc. to refute the allegations from Dam Vinh Hung.

Gerard Williams has added two more lawyers to the legal team, bringing the total number of lawyers involved in the lawsuit to six. In order for the new team to have enough time to study the case, Mr. Gerard asked the court to extend 60 days to respond to Dam Vinh Hung's lawsuit. This request was approved by the California Superior Court, bringing the deadline for responding to the lawsuit to February 25, 2025.

Previously, singer Bich Tuyen's husband announced that he would not negotiate with singer Dam Vinh Hung or his lawyer. He asked the court to issue a ruling forcing the singer to compensate the symbolic amount of $1 for all damages, and $1 for legal costs including attorney's fees. The total compensation is 2 USD. In addition, he asked Dam Vinh Hung to make a public apology through the court, to remedy the damage to his and his family's honor.

The lawsuit is attracting great attention not only because of the high value of compensation but also because of the circumstances related to the private life and relationship between the parties. The public also paid attention to how Mr. Gerard Williams showed his love for Vietnamese music, even when he was facing a complicated legal case with the leading singer of the Vietnamese entertainment industry.

On Dam Vinh Hung's side, the male singer also showed an equally optimistic spirit. Singer Dam Vinh Hung brought his son Polo home to welcome the New Year from the end of December 2024, after about two months to the US. On New Year's Eve, Dam Vinh Hung expressed his happiness and satisfaction when returning to his homeland, gathering with his family and loved ones. Looking forward to 2025, he said that he is very eager and ready to embrace new things. "Hopefully the new year will bring more joy than last year," he said.

The singer was touched when receiving encouragement from friends, especially singer Hong Ngoc: "All sorrows should be left behind. Luck, goodness and warmth of love will be with you."

Previously, Dam Vinh Hung took his son to the US at the end of October. Here, he continued his schedule of performances in states such as Texas, Georgia, and Washington.
