Unlike "big guys" like Ensure or Glucerna, which are witnessing negative growth, Hang Du Muc effectively leverages its community connectivity, intimate marketing, and especially the new consumer trends of young people to create impressive sales.

Meanwhile, domestic brands such as TH True Milk and Vinamilk also recorded positive growth, 57.3% and 46% respectively. However, Hang Du Muc was the breakthrough factor, not only standing firm but also surpassing many big brands to reach the leading group.

The main products sold include red apples, chocolate, red wolfberries, raisins, herbal tea, egg tarts... In a post in August 2024, Hang Du Muc confirmed that she was the one who directly registered and owned the copyright for these products. Besides the female TikToker's channel, Quang Linh Vlogs is the only account confirmed to be an "official" distributor in Vietnam.

However, the above stalls have all stopped operating after Hang Du Muc, Quang Linh and many members of Chi Em Rot Group JSC were prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency. Chi Em Rot Group was established in November 2024, co-founded by Mr. Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs), Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Hang and several others. The owner, General Director and legal representative is Mr. Le Tuan Linh (born in 1989). The company is headquartered in Thu Duc City (HCMC), with its main registered business being the production of movies, videos and television programs.

By the end of 2024, Chi Em Rot Group will introduce to consumers Kera vegetable candy products, manufactured at Asia Life JSC (Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak). Hang Du Muc and Quang Linh both participated in livestreaming to promote this product.

During their live streams, both made controversial statements such as: "A candy is equivalent to a plate of boiled vegetables". At the same time, Miss Thuy Tien also appeared regularly alongside the Chi Em Rot team to promote the product, from introductory clips to live sessions.

The incident came to light when a TikToker brought Kera candy for testing, the results showed that the fiber content was different from what Hang Du Muc had stated. The National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene later discovered that this product contained the sweetener Sorbitol with a high content of 33.4 g/100 g, but it was not listed on the label as required.
