Recently, the social network TikTok suddenly exploded with a series of keywords related to Ty Thy such as "Ty Thy was interacted by her fiancé", "Ty Thy's face was bruised",... making people confused.
The incident originated from the latest livestream of the "Papaya Salad Saint", in which she appeared with a face covered in bruises. Immediately, this image caused a stir in the online community.
According to Ty Thy herself, the reason came from being assaulted by her lover whose initials are NT.
In the livestream of the same day, Ty Thy shared that she and NT had a serious relationship, met each other's families, worked together and took care of their home. However, she denied the rumor that her ex-boyfriend was rich, and emphasized that the house where they both lived was her private property. Not only that, Ty Thy also created conditions for NT to work and earn extra income.
However, this person was not grateful, took all the mone.y i.n the safe, more than 7 taels of gold to sell, asked her to borrow mone.y but did not pay, owed a lot of mone.y,... She also said she did not want to make a big deal out of this incident, because she understood better than anyone the young man's family situation. She just wanted to speak up to warn everyone.
Netizens sent many messages of concern, encouragement to Ty Thy and asked her about her current situation.
When mentioning Ty Thy - a familiar name to many people in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas, people immediately think of the famous Thai papaya salad and the nickname "papaya salad saint" that she is affectionately given by the people. Not only famous for the taste of her dishes, Ty Thy also attracts attention for her continuous changes in business, as well as fluctuations in her personal life.
Recently, Ty Thy once again surprised netizens when she switched to a completely new business model. From spacious, well-organized restaurants, she suddenly returned to a simpler model. What is most remarkable is that when looking back, in less than a year, Ty Thy had to close the restaurant 3 times in a row, each time leaving behind many regrets.
In May 2024, people everywhere were surprised when Ty Thy decided to leave Ho Chi Minh City and move to Binh Duong to do business. According to her, although the shop in Ho Chi Minh City at that time seemed to always be crowded with customers and the profits seemed high, in reality it was not that easy. Operating costs, especially employee salaries, were always a burden. There were times when even though the shop was deserted, she still had to pay salaries to 13-14 employees, and at peak times, the number of employees could reach 26 people. This was one of the reasons why she decided to leave the location.
In Binh Duong, Ty Thy invested seriously in a grand location. In the first days of opening, she often posted bustling, vibrant images, making many people think that this "move" would be a great success. But then, storms came, from fierce competition in the area to unexpected incidents. Finally, after 6 months, Ty Thy decided to return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Returning to Ho Chi Minh City, Ty Thy chose to open a new restaurant in District 6. She continued to invest in the new restaurant space: clean, spacious, bright and equally attractive. Images of crowded customers, long lines every day were continuously shared by Ty Thy. She also regularly asked and received customers' opinions about the taste.
I thought this time the restaurant would "stay strong", however, that hope did not last long.
About a week ago, Ty Thy suddenly announced that she would close the shop and return the premises because the revenue was not enough to cover the costs. For the third time in less than a year, she was forced to put aside a large business model because she could not bear it any longer.
Instead of continuing to try to maintain the premises, Ty Thy chose a different, easier path, the pushcart model, selling fewer dishes and with a smaller staff. The new location is right next to her house under construction, which is also where she started, where the name "papaya salad saint" was first known.
Surprisingly, despite its small size, Ty Thy's cart still attracts a lot of customers. She said that in the first days of "re-emergence", the shop was always crowded, sometimes she had to work continuously, not having time to eat.
Ty Thy closed her papaya salad restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City after 6 years of opening, apologizing for one thing JLO16:22:38 14/05/2024Ty Thy impresses with her eye-catching appearance and cheerful, friendly way of speaking, which is why her salad receives the attention of many people. However, recently, she suddenly announced the shop's closure, making people regretful.
