According to the original, when teaching magic to Sun Wukong, Master Bodhi Patriarch asked his students what kind of magic they wanted to learn in two types: Heaven consists of 36 transformations and Earth Kill includes 72 magic spells. through transformation.

At its peak, Ton Ngo Khong used to mess with the Dragon Palace, fix the life and death books - the hellish uproar and the culmination of the Heavenly Court. During the great uproar of the Heavenly Court, Wukong continuously repelled 100,000 heavenly soldiers, four great heavenly kings, and Na Tra at that time, Sun Wukong, wildly wanted to replace the Jade Emperor as master of the Three Realms, challenging Buddha Tathagata. He was imprisoned for 500 years under the Marble Mountains, waited for the day when the Tripitaka Tang passed by to rescue him, and then accompanied him to Tay Thien as redemption.

For example, walking in the sky at the Tusita Palace, and shaking the earth in the earth, as long as you want to go, there is no place that Qi Tian Dai Thanh does not dare to set foot in. However, Sun Wukong, no matter how powerful his magic power is, still has a weakness that is afraid of naval battles. Fear of naval warfare, not fear of water.

The powerful magic power makes Ton Ngo Khong always proud of himself, but when the enemy chooses to fight in the water, "monkey brother" always finds enough words to evade.

Sun Wukong himself also had to admit that his naval combat ability was not good. Hou Ca once said to Bat Gioi and Sa Sang: "There is nothing to hide, brothers, if you are a goblin in the mountains, you do not need to waste your energy. Under water, we cannot walk. Every time we go into the water, we have to the concept of the Water Judgment, or having to transform into a fish-and-crab shape to be able to walk, how can they fight with youkai?"

So why does a generous character like Sun Wukong carry such a defect? This is probably only to blame Ngo Khong himself for not learning the profession.

Remember, when Sun Wukong went to see Bodhi Lao An in the middle of the night of the third watch, Bo De asked, "There are so many people around, what kind of practice do you want to learn?". The 72 transformations and Can Dau Van to fight in the air on Ton Ngo Khong have all been understood. When he was about to learn how to fight in the water, the Monkey King caused disaster.

Sun Wukong disobeyed Master Bo De, arbitrarily performing 72 transformations in front of fellow disciples, making Bo De extremely angry. In addition, he only calculated that this disciple's tribulation was coming, so he immediately chased Wukong down the mountain.

Therefore, Ton Ngo Khong was not proficient in naval warfare because he had not been taught by his master, and had not yet learned the craft and was expelled.

There is also a theory that, in the world of Journey to the West by Ngo Thua An, there exists the law of mutual coexistence, natural and external nature. So if explaining from Ngu Hanh, although Ton Ngo Khong is a monkey, it is a stone monkey. If the rock falls into the water, it will sink. Moreover, when being trained in the bagua furnace, it has the attribute of fire, which will naturally clash with water.
