Trio 3A: Music Icons in the '90s; The Warm One in the West, who became a Member of Parliament

Once one of the popular groups, the 3A Trio is active with admirable achievements. After more than 20 years of absence, the life of the legendary 3 pieces still interests the public.

The once illustrious Trio 3A from Hanoi, with a good and strange arrangement, the songs in the hands of this group all become more intense and burning. Accordingly, the group was released in October 1995 with their debut album titled "Romance". After 2 years of operation, the group won the Gold Medal at the Hanoi - ASEAN Festival in 1996 with the song "The Night of the Peach" by Phu Quang, attending the 14th Festival held in Cuba in 1997.

Trio 3A are three girls with a solid musical background, a voice full of personality, and above all, a will, a burning passion for their profession. Minh Anh (1975) and Minh Anh (1977), are two siblings, daughter of artist Boi Tran and the last member is Ngoc Anh (1975). All 3 studied vocal music at Hanoi Conservatory of Music. Boi Tran's mother took care of every bit of it, from doing laundry to suggesting dresses, and followed the group around the country on tours. Ngoc Anh's father is the Director of Tuong Theater.

The group is named after the first 3 official singers: Ngoc Anh, Minh Anh, Minh Anh. But then Ngoc Anh separated the group, had a new charm and started a solo singing career and in 2008, decided to go to the US to develop her career. The group invited singer Trang Nhung to replace Ngoc Anh and changed the group's name to MTM, after a short time, the new person left, Minh Anh - Minh Anh, the group's name became 2M, performed for a while and then disbanded, each with their own karma.

The breakup was not stressful because all 3 took new directions and respected each other's decisions. The 3A trio went through many periods, changed the group's name twice, and was most loved and known by the audience through the first name, 3A.

At that time, although the sand was not high, all 3 girls still worked hard to perform for passion and often went to charity singing. They once shared that it was a happy time because they could forget all the sorrow when singing.

Although the group has been inactive for many years, up to now, whenever it comes to "Trio 3A", many people still care about how the three beautiful muses are now.

Ngoc Anh is a member with a prominent singing career after splitting solo. When she first left the group, singer Nam Tien to look for a new direction but could not adapt, so she later returned to Hanoi. Although she has a beautiful and passionate voice, she had to go through many ups and downs in life before becoming famous through Phu Quang's songs.

In 2008, Ngoc Anh announced to settle in the US with her husband - musician Tran Hung (son of People's Party member Tuong Vy). Since then, Ngoc Anh's singing career has developed with the love songs of musician Phu Quang such as: Winter nostalgia, Simple thing ... and quickly gained the support of overseas audiences.

In 2017, the "Winter Nostalgia" singer unexpectedly divorced her husband after nearly 20 years of marriage. The reason given by the two was that there was "no common voice". After the trauma of his first marriage, the former 3A member found a new happy landing with her foreign husband of more than 12 years. Ngoc Anh's current husband is very loving and gives her a sense of peace in a foreign land.

Through many difficulties, Ngoc Anh now enjoys a happy life with her husband, son and parents at a lovely beach house in California (USA). Leaving the spotlight, the singer became a woman who cared for her family attentively and loved to be a housewife. At the age of 4, the singer was fulfilled by a career of many achievements, loved by her husband and affectionate son.

As for the other two members of group 3A: Minh Anh and Minh Anh, after Ngoc Anh split up solo, the group invited singer Trang Nhung to take their place. However, Trang Nhung only participated for one year and then separated for her own business. The sisters Minh Anh and Minh Anh went to sing for a while, then also stopped and chose their own career path. The sisters both married at the age of 26. Minh Anh's husband is a guitarist who attended the same school as her.

It can be said that Minh Anh is the most successful career member of the group as she pursues her teaching career and achieves many remarkable achievements.

In 2003, Minh Anh was appointed Deputy Faculty of Vocal Music, marking his official participation in management. In 2012, she was appointed Vice Chancellor of Hanoi College of Arts. In addition, the singer also provided vocal support to contestants in some contests such as: Sao Mai rendezvous, Do Re Mi...

Besides, Minh Anh also participated in political activities and became one of 30 names elected to the position of a member of the 14th National Assembly. She continues to use her influence and knowledge in different fields to give suggestions to develop the law and improve the quality of life of people.

Although she loves singing and wants to develop it, due to the characteristics of her busy work, Minh Anh finds that she does not have much time to take care of her family. She also admitted that she did not want to let her two children Yang Danzhi and Yang Shiying follow the path of art.

As for Minh Anh, her life has been somewhat quiet since the disbandment of Trio 3A. After no longer working with the group, Minh Anh quit singing and worked at Vietnam Airlines Corporation. Minh Anh's family has a baby boy named Khoi Nguyen. It is known that the singer's husband works at the Central Science Documentary Film Studio.

Although time has passed, Trio 3A is no longer the name mentioned by Vietnamese audiences and makes waves as before. However, the songs that 3 talented pieces have performed have always been the "youth" of many generations 8x and 9x today.
