"At first, I was opposed by my parents who thought that singing did not have a clear direction, the future was not bright, so they did not support me to pursue an artistic path. However, after a period of explanation, my parents also respected my decision," Nguyen said.

In 2021, Lap Nguyen made an extremely bold decision and went beyond his limits, which was to register for the Vietnamese Rap contest season 2. This is an area that is not his strength, but thanks to determination and effort, he has made a lot of big changes and brought me many lessons. After stepping out of the contest, Lap Nguyen has more experience and a clearer direction for his passion. "I was lucky to join rapper Wowy's team and went to the 2nd round when I stopped, but that journey was extremely precious, because there were many lessons from how to live, to professional music knowledge. At the same time, I was able to observe their talents and ways of working, from which I summarized my experience for later," Nguyen recounted.
