Stray Kids is more than capable of succeeding BTS, the identity of the gir.l group replacing Blackpink is shocking

Recently, the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) officially announced that Stray Kids will join the performing artist lineup for their event, taking place on December 12 in Los Angeles.

This helps solidify Stray Kids' position as a "top global artist" when having the opportunity to perform at one of the three major American music awards ceremonies. It is known that Stray Kids is the second Kpop artist to perform at this year's Awards Ceremony, after SEVENTEEN.

"Stray Kids will perform two hit songs released this year," the group's management company JYP said, without revealin.g the specific names of the songs.

Appearing at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, Stray Kids not only took on the role of performing artists, but the JYP bo.y group also received 4 nominations in three categories, including: Top Duo/Group, Top Global Kpop Artist and Top Kpop Album. Notably, Stray Kids is also the only Kpop artist nominated with two albums ROCK-STAR (2023) and ATE (2024) in the category "Top Kpop Album".

At last year's Billboard Music Awards, Stray Kids performed "S-Class" and "LALALALA," marking the first time the group had their own stage at the BBMAs. Notably, Stray Kids also won the "Top Kpop Album" award at the Awards Ceremony.

Stray Kids has proven their remarkable success on the Billboard charts over the years. Starting with the EP ODDINARY (2022), Stray Kids' next four albums MAXIDENT, 5-STAR, ROCK-STAR, and ATE achieved the unprecedented feat of consecutively debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

aespa's song Supernova recently took the top spot on Billboard's 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2024: Staff Picks.

Not stopping there, Supernova also brought the four girls from SM Entertainment many impressive achievements and records. On the Melon and Genie charts, the song held the top spot for the longest week this year.
