In recent days, two short clips of about 30 seconds long recording a scene where a shipper was asked to deliver a package directly to a deceased person received special attention with millions of views.

According to the video, when the male shipper brought the package to the customer's house, the family was having a funeral. The girl recorded the clip and asked, "Please deliver it to that guy for me, the guy sitting on the altar."

The young shipper could only say "it's so difficult" but the owner of the clip confirmed that the main item was ordered by the deceased so he just put it next to the altar. The delivery man had no other choice so he took the bag and placed it, not forgetting to bow to the deceased.

The clip, described by the poster as: "Shipper delivers goods and then quits his job", immediately received nearly 4 million views from netizens.

Below the clip, many people expressed their condolences to the deceased and his family, as well as shared many conflicting views about the shipper delivering goods to the deceased, as this was one of the rare cases they had ever witnessed.

Similarly, a clip posted by the above account also shared images of another shipper delivering the goods. This person was also asked by the family to bring the goods into the house and place them in front of the altar of the deceased relative. The clip also received nearly 1.5 million views.

Some netizens believe that it is normal for families to ask shippers to deliver goods to the deceased, partly to help the delivery person complete his or her job and partly to help the deceased feel at peace. However, many disagree, saying that it is inappropriate for families to ask shippers to deliver goods like that.

One account expressed: "It also helps the shipper complete the order and he has received it." "Sometimes when he passes away suddenly, his family wants to give it to him so they don't owe him anything," another account agreed.

Sharing with Thanh Nien, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh (43 years old, living in Ben Tre), the owner of the above clips, confirmed that the family asked the shipper to deliver the goods to the deceased person. Mr. Vinh said that in early November, his younger brother Nguyen Quang Vinh (41 years old) suddenly passed away due to a stroke, which was a great and irreplaceable loss for the family.

Relatives said that before he passed away, Vinh had placed many orders but the shipper had not yet delivered them. The orders were mainly clothes and gardening tools. On the days of the funeral, when the shipper delivered the goods, Vinh and his sister Nguyen Thi Thuy Vy asked the shipper to deliver the goods to the altar of their deceased relative.

"Many people online reacted to the family asking the shipper to deliver the goods to the deceased, but we had a reason for doing so. My family also wanted the shipper to complete the order, my younger brother also received the goods so that he could leave without any regrets or worries, and without being known as a bombardier. The shippers who came to deliver were all surprised, but they still supported the family, clasped their hands and prayed for my brother," said Vinh.

Mr. Vinh painfully recalled that last year, his younger brother was the one who weeded the garden for his and his wife's wedding. On the same day this year, he was the one weeding the garden for his brother's funeral, so he was extremely saddened by this coincidence.

Talking about delivering goods to the deceased, Mr. Le Sang, a shipper in Ho Chi Minh City, said he encountered a similar situation when a customer ordered clothes.
