Rosé (BLACKPINK) has the 2nd platinum, breaking the Kpop record, no one has ever done it

On February 7 (local time), the British Recording Industry Association (BPI) announced that Rosé ( Blackpink) and Bruno Mars' hit hit "APT." has been officially certified platinum.

According to BPI's certification threshold, singles are certified platinum when they reach 600,000 copies sold in the UK. This is a testament to the commercial success of the song "APT." in the world's 3rd largest music market.

Specifically, according to Soompi, at around 14:52 on January 31, Rosé (Blackpink) and Bruno Mars' MV "APT." exceeded 1 billion views on YouTube. The MV "APT." achieved this achievement after 105 days of release, as of October 18, 2024.
