Musician Pho Duc Phuong is the grandson of Comrade Pho Duc Chinh (1907 - 1930) - Vietnamese revolutionary, founder, one of the leaders of the Vietnam Nationalist Party, right-hand man of Party Chief Nguyen Thai Hoc . When he was arrested and sentenced to death, Pho Duc Chinh refused to appeal the sentence with heroic words: "The great thing is not successful! Death is honorable! There is no point in appealing!". Pho Duc Chinh boldly stepped onto the guillotine and asked to lie on his back to see how the blade of death would fall.
Pho Duc Phuong was raised in that glorious revolutionary Pho family. He had beautiful childhood years and grew up in the early years of the August Revolution. Pho Duc Phuong refused all indirect jobs, the "city boy" decided to engage in direct labor. This life change is probably a priceless price that not many people can easily exchange. With a part of her life as a farm worker, in mid-1966, Phuong returned to take the exam to enter the Vietnam Music School. At that time, the school evacuated to Hebei. The song "Quan Ho Girls" was born while Phuong was waiting for her first lessons.
Passionate about literature, painting, poetry, and history, with successes over twenty years of work, Pho Duc Phuong is truly one of the few "leading birds" of a young generation of musicians. previous prospects.
