She sang in shelters, ate and lived in underground houses and caves, sang in caves for wounded and sick soldiers to listen, and sang on the edge of fortifications under enemy fire to encourage soldiers to fight steadfastly.
At the 5-star hotel program, when mentioning emotional memories on the battlefield, People's Artist Ha Vy shared: "My stage is sometimes a lawn, sometimes a hill, the musical instruments are all simple. There were times when I sang on one side, and on the other side were artillery shells, but I was not afraid, just focused on singing. Once, when singing for wounded soldiers in Ha Giang, I cried while singing. Until now, those emotions are still intact in me."
In 2003, despite her already familiar voice to a wide audience, artist Ha Vy still decided to study at the Vocal Department of the Hanoi Conservatory of Music (now the Vietnam National Academy of Music). I was gone for 4 and a half months, Trang's younger sister did not even recognize her mother. I had to send her to her grandparents.
When I came back, my daughter kept hugging her grandmother's neck, looking back at the picture hangin.g on the wall and then looking at me because she didn't recognize her mother. Seeing her with boils all over her body because of the heat, I felt so sorry for her, I had to hold back my tears. Many times I softened and wanted to quit my job because I wanted to spend time with my family."
Talking about her mother, BTV Hoang Trang always gives her love and respect: "I feel the happiest in my life because I was born as Vy's daughter.
