According to Dr. Thanh, a woman's age greatly affects her ability to become a mother because the older she gets, the worse the egg quality and the smaller number of eggs make conception more difficult.

Therefore, at the age of 20-30, women are most fertile. After that, the ability to conceive gradually decreases, at the age of 35 onwards, it begins to decrease sharply. By the time they turn 45, very few women are able to conceive naturally due to the high rate of abnormal pregnancies.

According to Dr. Thanh, pregnancy after the age of 35 can be difficult, even life-threatening for both mother and baby.

"Older women often have more pre-existing medical problems than younger women, such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, which can easily lead to pre-eclampsia.
