With her passion for the profession, Quynh Lien has made her mark in the hearts of the audience and is considered a talented young artist by many artists in the profession. Artist Loc Huyen once commented: "Quynh Lien is a person with good expertise, her skills are highly appreciated, and she is able to take on heavy roles and the main roles of the play".

In 2020, Quynh Lien excellently won a gold medal in the role of "Ho Nguyet Co turned into a fox" at the contest "Young Talent of Tuong Actors and National Folk Opera" in 2020. This is also the role Quynh Lien won the First Prize "Student Talent" at Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema in 2018.

Since childhood, she has lived with her grandparents, lived in tuong songs and music, because the artist's paternal grandparents were artists in the Duong Coc troupe. She often followed her grandparents to see tuong, that's why tuong has been absorbed into female artists since childhood. She remembers that on the day the Central Troupe came back to perform, the whole Quynh Lien village was eager to go and watch. Everyone was excited, even many people burst into tears because the play was so good.

The love for tuong in her kept growing and when Tuong Hong Ha Theater returned to her hometown to recruit people, they realized that Quynh Lien had quality and advised her to go to tuong class. Initially, the person who took the exam was her sister, but her grandmother advised Quynh Lien to try and she passed the exam. She originally studied the Northern tuong, but Quynh Lien's grandparents followed the Southern tuong. Sometimes, when she returned to her hometown, her grandparents would ask and ask her to sing to show the similarities and differences between Tuong Nam and Tuong Bac, and if the sentence didn't sound sweet, her grandparents would correct it for her.

She was lucky to have grandparents who followed the art of tuong, so she received the support of her grandparents. Quynh Lien's parents also love her very much! Seeing that she was struggling, she suffered more disadvantages than her peers, so sometimes she wanted her to quit her job. However, her parents let the female artist decide for herself because everyone respects her opinion.

In fact, every profession has its own hardships and difficulties. With traditional art forms, in addition to hardships and difficulties, they are also disadvantages because of the picky audience and lovers. While in the 4.0 era, there are too many things to entertain the audience, there are too many options for the audience.

Therefore, for those who pursue traditional art in general and tuong art in particular, it will be hard, difficult and disadvantaged many times over. That's not to mention that for a tuong performer, it is not easy to get a good and quality role without putting a lot of effort.

When performing, the artist must pay attention to every small detail, not to mention singing and dancing and "carrying" nearly 10kg of costumes. Especially in the hot summer, wearing thick clothes like a quilt makes the artist drenched in sweat like a shower but still has to perform.

Moreover, the artist not only keeps his voice but also has to keep his appearance, physique and must be beautiful, must wear lipstick and clothes... Going to the show often goes early and comes home late, while the meager salary is not enough to eat, and the training allowance is low. As a parent, who doesn't want their children to be happy, but because she loves her job, she ignores those hardships to follow the family. And she believes that, with such love and determination, the profession will not depend on her and her family's trust.

Sometimes, she faces the question: "Why do young people like me choose tuong?". But Quynh Lien thinks that coming to her is a charm, a choice for her passion. She thinks that in any profession and field of art, there will be certain difficulties. The artist will have difficulties, but in return, after overcoming difficulties, he will have success. Therefore, Quynh Lien always sees it as an opportunity to train herself. Currently, the young generation is very enthusiastic about the art of tuong because they can tour and interact with foreign friends. She always tries to bring traditional Vietnamese art closer to the younger generation, as well as the world. With the attention of the state and enthusiasm for the profession, the art of tuong will certainly develop more and more.

Quynh Lien hopes that more people will come to see Tuong and more and more people love Tuong. The applause of the audience is a motivation for her and helps her be more confident in herself and more confident in her career choices.
