In recent days, people have been abuzz with the heartbreaking story of the Chinese boy nicknamed Fat Cat. On many social media platforms, quite a few Vietnamese netizens passed on the photo that is said to be the guy's face.

It was a boy with a young face, beautiful eyes, and an extremely relaxed figure. Everyone expressed regret for his painful passing.

However, according to some netizen, the supposedly real image of the Fat Cat is buzzing online is inaccurate. Some claim that this person is a young teacher named Yang Guoguo who is quite famous on Douyin in China.

The fact that someone released a picture of this teacher and confirmed that it was the face of the Fat Cat made many fans confused and frustrated.

There is also information that the appearance of the Fat Cat actually looks quite normal, not shimmering like the image posted online.

Some Vietnamese tiktok accounts posted pictures of 1 relatively chubby guy and thought that he had successfully lost weight, making viewers not know who to trust.

As for her sister Fat Cat, she also recently posted a forum asking people not to share false information about her brother.

She wrote: "Thank you for your interest in the online community. However, the past few days have also spread too many false rumors. Therefore, I think a simple answer is the most necessary thing right now.

We sincerely hope that the online community can be calm, rational, not comment, create or continue to spread any false information. Also hope people stop spreading videos, pictures, words... of my brother while he was alive as well as cyber violence against those involved. I believe justice will come at a later date."

Also related to the case of Fat Cat, according to information from Phap Luat Ho Chi Minh City newspaper. In HCMC, in Vietnam, recently, the online community was upset by a clip of a female TikToker dropping food into West Lake to "send to Fat Cats in China".

Netizens thought that the above action was objectionable, taking advantage of other people's tragic stories to catch likes and views, while polluting the environment and losing urban beauty.

Specifically, this girl bought food and drinks to put in a carton box and dropped it into West Lake for the purpose of memorializing and praying for the Fat Cat.

In addition, another Vietnamese male TikToker also "started the trend", bringing food and water to the West Lake to "remember" causing anger.

In addition to the disgruntled clip, many people also wonder if the act of dropping food and drinks into the lake will be punished.

Answering questions lawyer Tran Minh Hung, Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association HCM said the behavior of individuals when following the trend of love stories from China, dropping fast food on the surface of West Lake caused a lot of controversy on social networks, mainly harsh criticism from the community and society.

The above actions do not bring any practical benefits but cause food waste, loss of urban beauty and even environmental pollution when discharging food, plastics, bags, plastic bags floating on the surface of West Lake.

Article 25 of Decree 45/2022 on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of environmental protection stipulates a fine from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 for the act of throwing, discharging or disposing of garbage on sidewalks, roadways or into urban sewage drainage systems or surface water drainage systems; improper dumping of sewage on sidewalks, street beds; dispose of plastic waste generated from domestic activities into ponds, canals, rivers, streams and seas.

Accordingly, the release of fast food, plastic, bags, plastic bags floating on the surface of West Lake is prohibited by law, causing environmental pollution and may be administratively sanctioned from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000.
