In previous years, MC Son Lam has had experience hosting at many Olympia Finals bridges. In particular, last year, the male MC was responsible for the Thanh Hoa bridge of contestant Xuan Manh - Champion of Olympia 2023.

MC Son Lam's real name is Duong Son Lam (born in 1989), has been working as an MC for more than 10 years. He is a familiar face to TV viewers when he regularly appears on the programs "Good deeds", "Morning coffee with VTV3", "60 minutes open"...

In addition, he is also responsible for the "Weekly Highlights" column of "Chuyen Dong 24h", making an impression thanks to his straightforward reporting style, closely following the news topic but not dry but also mixed with humor. The male MC's name also regularly appears in the nomination list of impressive BTV/MC of VTV Awards for many consecutive years.

Before becoming a familiar face on National Television programs, MC Son Lam had an impressive academic record when he graduated from the Petroleum Engineering Department of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. After graduating, he worked in the Chemistry industry for 2 years. The male MC also won a Master's scholarship in Chemistry and studied abroad in Korea for several years.

Thinking that he would spend his whole life in Chemistry, Son Lam of that year suddenly realized that it was not where he belonged. So he stopped his journey in the neighboring country and returned to Vietnam, starting over as an MC.

He once shared in an interview about his decision to stick with the MC profession: "I still remember when I came back, stepped into the TV station lobby, saw the VTV logo, I felt this was where I belonged. That feeling was so clear!".
