I also used to receive prejudices from people around me because I was a half-breed. All of these shortcomings made me feel inferior, quiet and used to feeling alone in my own home. Even when I got married, I wasn't used to living with my wife."

Living with his biological aunt, Duc Tien had to do many jobs to support the family economy such as growing agricultural products, raising rabbits, and mowing grass. These jobs not only helped him save his stupidity but also trained him to be persistent and independent from a very early age. Life is difficult, but Duc Tien always strives to study and help his family.

In the 10th grade, Duc Tien was picked up by his father to take care of him. His father's work is more convenient, which makes his life less difficult materially. However, in Duc Tien's heart, there is still a lot of anger and sadness about the lack of family affection.
