H'Hen Nie returns to Yen Bai to do charity work near Tet, inaugurate a school and a bathroom

On the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, Miss H'Hen Nie went to Yen Bai to inaugurate the Ta Cho school and the bathroom for the Lao Chai school in Mu Cang Chai. She also made sticky rice cakes and interacted with the locals.

Despite being busy with year-end work, H'Hen Nie still arranged her schedule to join Uniqlo and HOPE Foundation to inaugurate a new school at Ta Cho School, Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai Province. This is an annual activity, H'Hen Nie accompanies Uniqlo and HOPE Foundation to carry out meaningful projects for people in remote areas.

Here, the delegation presented the locals, teachers and students with warm clothes that were much needed in the cold weather of the past few days. Last year, H'Hen Nie also went to Mu Cang Chai to inaugurate the Trong Tro school. This time, she was excited and decided to walk 2km to the school, climbing the winding slopes to directly understand the difficulties and hardships of teachers and students every day going to school. Upon arrival, H'Hen Nie quickly got to know the students and sat down to chat. She was especially concerned about keeping the students warm because the weather was very cold.

Then H'Hen Nie and the villagers pounded and made sticky rice cakes. Holding a large pestle, H'Hen Nie used all her strength to pound the cakes while being enthusiastically cheered by everyone around. She said that activities like this are an opportunity to bring the community together and a way to preserve traditional cultural beauty.

In the afternoon, the delegation moved to Lao Chai Primary School for Ethnic Minorities to inaugurate a new bathroom for the students. Previously, nearly 500 boarding students had to bathe around an outdoor pool even in the cold winter. With the new bathroom, divided into separate areas for boys and girls, especially the ho.t water system helps the students stay warm.

H'Hen Niê emotionally shared: "When participating in the trip and meeting the children, you are the source of energy that gives the whole team strength to continue implementing the projects. This is also a gift for the New Year, with the efforts and hard work of many people but sharing the same belief that life and the future will be better if we act together. Hen will always remember the smiles of the children, thank you for giving Hen the opportunity to come here to better understand the value of life and spread positive messages in the days leading up to Tet At Ty."

After the trip to Yen Bai, H'Hen Nie will return to Hanoi to participate in a fashion show and then fly to Dak Lak to organize activities with her family to give gifts to people on the occasion of Tet.

Previously, Miss H'Hen Nie also participated in the program "Tet chia, Tet yeu", bringing Tet to children in the highlands in Ten village, Van Lang commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province. The program brought many meaningful experiences, high educational value and spread the message of "sharing, loving" during the coming Tet holiday.

Participating in the program, Miss H'Hen Nie said: "Hen has participated in this program 3 times and each trip, each journey brings Hen many emotions and good memories. Hopefully, the children in the highlands this year will have a warm Tet, full of love. Let's welcome the new spring together with a new spirit and new momentum, together determined to be good and study well".

Continuing, as part of the program's series of events, the "Wrapping Banh Chung, Wrapping Love" Festival was held at the Trinh Cong Son walking street, Tay Ho, Hanoi on the morning of January 12. The program had the participation of Miss Universe H'Hen Nie and students in Hanoi.

This is also an opportunity for young people to better understand the beautiful customs and traditions of Vietnam during Tet, with Tet stalls, traditional folk games, and art performances imbued with the spring atmosphere.
