H'Hen Nie traveled 13 hours to the highlands to do the unthinkable, everyone was moved

Miss H'Hen Niê made netizens feel grateful when she took meaningful action for children in the highlands of Lai Chau province. Not afraid of the distance, traveling by car for 13 hours to bring a better life to these students.

Accordingly, H'Hen Nie had a working trip to Lai Chau with the Hanoi City Police delegation, inaugurating public works (bathrooms, toilets, libraries) and renovating schools for students. The trip was from December 13 to 15. Before that, H'Hen Nie participated in a community event in Da Nang, then flew to Hanoi at night and at 5 a.m. got on the bus to Lai Chau.

The group arrived at Si Lo Lau Secondary School, Phong Tho District, Lai Chau Province at nearly 7:00 p.m. Immediately after, H'Hen Nie went into the kitchen, along with the teachers and the group, to prepare dinner for the students. She also stayed overnight to directly experience the students' lives and visit their accommodations. In the evening, H'Hen Nie participated in cultural activities and helped everyone prepare for the opening ceremony the next day.

In November 2024, H'Hen Nie and the delegation went to Lai Chau to survey and start construction and renovation. After a month, the projects were completed, including bathrooms, toilets, and libraries at Si Lo Lau Secondary School and the renovation of Ta Chai Kindergarten, Phong Tho District, Lai Chau Province. The project was implemented by the Hanoi City Police Department, H'Hen Nie accompanied and contributed to spreading the program. This is an annual activity that H'Hen Nie and the Hanoi City Police Department maintain regularly every year-end.

In addition to public works, the delegation also awarded scholarships and gifts to students, including school supplies, backpacks, candy... especially warm clothes because winter in Lai Chau is very cold. H'Hen Niê shared: "Hello Lai Chau, after more than 13 hours of traveling from Hanoi, I have arrived safely. I was a bit carsick on the winding roads, but when I arrived, I was very happy to see the students. Today, the new bathroom and toilet were opened for the students and I had the opportunity to stay with them, prepare meals together, sit down to eat and visit my room. Every trip, I met many people, heard many inspirational stories, and I always lived in positivity". She said that when she saw the students in the dormitory, the image of highland students going to school reminded her of the old days. That is also the reason why H'Hen Niê prioritizes community activities to support children in highland and ethnic minorities.

In early December, H'Hen Niê was proud to be honored in the Community Individual category at the Vietnam iContent Awards 2024. This year, H'Hen Niê has always been active in community and social activities, willing to participate in social programs and projects aimed at education, children and women.

She has traveled to every province and city in Vietnam, to places with many difficulties, to support, share and spread kindness and love. On the stage receiving the award, H'Hen Nie choked up as she recalled that she had been shared and helped, so she always reminded herself to continue sharing and helping as a way to thank those who had helped her.

Despite her busy schedule and frequent trips to the provinces, H'Hen Nie still makes time for community activities and always maintains her radiant energy every time she appears. After her business trip to Lai Chau, H'Hen Nie continued to Con Dao to participate in the Green Living Festival (December 16-17) and went to Hanoi to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union as a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term VIII, on the morning of December 18.
