On the morning of January 12, the national preliminary round of Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

As one of the biggest beauty contests in Vietnam, Miss Cosmo Vietnam attracts many new contestants as well as "veterans" in the beauty pageant world.

Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 2nd Runner-up - Truong Qui Minh Nhan was one of the contestants who appeared early at the preliminary round venue. Minh Nhan said she decided to re-register for the new beauty contest after only 1 month of hesitation and internal struggle. When deciding to compete, Minh Nhan spent that time preparing everything from skills to costumes....

When asked whether participating in Miss Universe Vietnam was a trade-off of "giving up" the title of Miss Grand Vietnam runner-up, Minh Nhan explained: "I did not give up the title of runner-up, I always cherish what I have achieved. In any job, attitude must come before ability. That title is the result of my efforts as well as recognition from the judges, I always keep it in mind and will never give it up. It's just that at different times, we will have different goals and directions. I also have fear, but if not now, when?"

Although she has won the title of runner-up, Minh Nhan still maintains the mindset of a newcomer to absorb and learn new things. She said she is ready to receive comments and suggestions from the online community on this new journey.

Recently, a series of beauty queens left Sen Vang company, some for their own purposes, some for new competitions. Regarding the "conflict" with the old company, Minh Nhan affirmed that at Miss Grand Vietnam, she only stopped at the 2nd runner-up position so there was no mandatory contract with Sen Vang. On her personal page, Minh Nhan also did not leave contact information like other beauty queens so there was no reason to leave the company. Minh Nhan said that she had been supported a lot by Ms. Pham Kim Dung - director Hoang Nhat Nam in the past time. When deciding to compete in Miss Universe Vietnam, Minh Nhan also received encouragement, support and good wishes from Ms. Pham Kim Dung and Hoang Nhat Nam.

She emphasized: "Although I have no ties to the company, you have helped me a lot, what could be more precious. Everyone, there is no conflict or anything, everything is fine."

Truong Qui Minh Nhan, born in 2001, was crowned 2nd runner-up at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023. She is praised as "someone else's chil.d" thanks to her impressive academic achievements, fluent English, and IELTS 8.0. At the Miss Grand International pageant held in Vietnam, she was assigned the role of MC at the sash awarding ceremony for the contestants. Currently, Minh Nhan maintains her modeling activities and accepts invitations to perform at fashion shows.

In addition, the beauty also surprised the audience when she publicly announced that she had plastic surgery to improve her appearance. Minh Nhan had surgery on body parts such as endoscopic breast augmentation, nose bone correction, thigh liposuction and facial fat grafting.
