On April 3, Fubao officially left Everland Amusement Park (Gyeonggi Province, Korea) and headed back to China. By the time Fubao got on the bus to leave the park, there were already many people standing in line in the rain to see this famous panda on his way back to his homeland. Many people couldn't hold back their tears when they saw Mr. Song, one of the people who took care of Fubao since birth, bowed his head next to the truck carrying this panda leaving the park as a farewell to his beloved grandchild. .

Before Fubao returned, the China Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center carefully prepared with necessary measures to welcome the bear. To help Fubao reintegrate into his living environment in Shanxi, during the one-month quarantine period, two Chinese bear keepers will support him along with Kang Cheol-won - who raised Fubao in Korea. They will also help the pandas overcome the language barrier by learning Chinese, especially the Shanxi accent.

According to Yonhap, although Mr. Kang's mother passed away on April 2, he still decided to return to China with Fubao to help this panda adapt to its living environment for 3 days.
