Revealing about her husband, the female singer said he is an overseas Vietnamese born and raised in America. They knew each other through a group of friends in Vietnam. The two spent 2 years getting to know each other and falling in love long-distance before deciding to go home together.

Former member of Mat Ngoc shared: "My husband and I are like we have a relationship. My husband was born in America so he doesn't listen to Vietnamese music and doesn't know much about me.
