Phuong Hong Que: "Television told me" to go to America to do all kinds of jobs, not get married a second time

Phuong Hong Que is known as a pretty cool showgirl overseas today. Even though she is in her 80s, she is still young and beautiful and works tirelessly. She confided about her life now.

Phuong Hong Que is a famous singer, used to own a tea room at the age of 18, and was nicknamed "Tivi chi bao". Later, she married a doctor and moved to America with her mother and two children, but her husband stayed in Vietnam to work and some time later remarried his new wife. Since then, Phuong Hong Que has lived alone and has not known anyone.

At the program "Home with Guests", the female artist confided: "When I was first in America, he occasionally flew to visit his children, and then his children also came back to visit him. I didn't visit him because of the holidays. At first in America, life was very difficult, I still had my mother and children.

I kept worrying about my children, my career, and going to work, so I forgot about getting married. After breaking up with him, I didn't want to get married anymore. I told myself to try to keep myself a single family with two children.

Of course, I also have friends and acquaintances, but I am determined not to live together or get married anymore. That year when I came to America, I was only 39 years old, still very young, but I was determined not to go any further."

Next, Phuong Hong Que shared about her career when she arrived in the US: "I went to the US in March 1991, and in July was flown to Paris to film for Thuy Nga No. 16.

But at that time I didn't sing much, so I still went to school to sell plane tickets. During the day, I also dub Hong Kong series. But after a few days I quit because it was so hard. The voice acting job in those days was so simple and difficult, I had to do it all myself. After a few days I was so tired that I quit.

One day I had to take my child to school and do voice acting, pick him up in the afternoon and then go to school again until 9pm. There are days when I don't eat or drink anything because I don't have time and work all day.

Before going to America, Phuong Hong Que took a break from singing so life was quite difficult. She said: "I have to do all kinds of business. I open a coffee shop and sell bread at home in the morning. There are times when I have to go to the market and open a stall selling cigarettes.

I'm not sad because I think that when society changes, if we don't change, how can we live? I work honestly and don't do anything to be ashamed of. At that time, I wasn't married yet. Together with a friend, I went to the market to open a stall, sell medicine, take some here and leave some there. In general, I can survive in any situation."

Business profits 50 thousand dollars a month

After coming to America, in addition to singing, Phuong Hong Que also did business. She said:

"That day, I made more money selling CDs than singing. Every time I went to a show, I brought 2 boxes of CDs to sell, each box had from 150 to 200 CDs.

Life is stable, but I still do many other jobs because I have business in my blood. I did many jobs, first was dubbing movies, then sold airline tickets, sold flowers, then sold massage machines, sauna machines... opened a company.

In the past, there was no social network like there is now, so I had to place ads on television stations. Every month, I spend up to 20, 30 thousand dollars on advertising, but the sales are very good.

I didn't even have time to eat because customers kept calling to order. Many times when I'm eating with friends I have to take out my notebook to write down orders. My profit must be tens of thousands of dollars a month. Advertising alone costs 20, 30 thousand dollars, but if it doesn't sell 40, 50 thousand dollars, it's impossible to maintain. I even named the company brand name for myself, drew the logo, and ordered the logo."

As a show host, he organizes dozens of shows a year

Business blood is high, she also works as a show host: "Up to now, I am still working hard as a show host, and have no time to do anything. A brand of massage chairs and household appliances asked me for a year. I've done dozens of shows.

I have to do it all, pick up and drop off, arrange singers, singing order, this song and that song, so busy that I don't have time to do anything else. Every month that brand has shows, in different cities, I have to go constantly.

Fortunately, God gave me clarity, and at this age I still remember to do shows. But sometimes I often forget the singer's performance schedule, so I have to apologize to the singer all the time. For example, if the singer sings on Saturday, I mistake it for Sunday. Many singers petitioned me, wondering why she sings today without her picture on the poster. At that time, I just felt dumbfounded and had to go handle everything.

It's not about work, I have to do everything at home. I also take care of the house. Although both children are older, they still live with me because they are not married. My oldest son is 41 years old and still unmarried. I take care of everything, cooking, gardening, and from here and there people call me."
