Luong Bang Quang 'challenges authorities', 'uncooperative' behavior causes shock

Although the authorities asked Luong Bang Quang to cooperate in opening the safe to search the assets in Ngan 98's case, the male singer gave the excuse that he could not remember the password, causing initial difficulty in accessing the evidence.

On October 16, the case related to violations in the business of health protection foods that occurred at the business household ZuBu Shop and ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited continued to be investigated by the Investigation Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police. The search of Ngan 98's 300m2 apartment in a luxury apartment building in Cat Lai ward, Ho Chi Minh City, was carried out meticulously, in compliance with legal regulations, under direct supervision from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Procuracy.

Singer Luong Bang Quang, husband of Ngan 98, was also present to witness the search. During this process, the authorities discovered a safe. This safe is about 65cm high, about 45cm wide and weighs 105kg, equipped with a password or fingerprint unlocking mechanism.

When asked to open the safe to serve the investigation, Luong Bang Quang appeared confused. He said he did not remember the password. When asked to use his fingerprint, the male singer did as requested. The safe signaled a valid signal, but when Quang grabbed the handle to open it, it was unsuccessful because the handle showed signs of being broken. Quang explained: "There is nothing important in the safe so we have not opened it for a long time, and I do not remember the password."

However, due to Luong Bang Quang's strange attitude and behavior, the authorities became suspicious that the safe might contain important documents or evidence. Therefore, technical staff were called in to assist in unlocking it.

When the technician arrived, he asked Luong Bang Quang to enter his fingerprint to unlock the lock. However, the singer continued to act clumsy, entering his fingerprint incorrectly. After about 5 consecutive incorrect entries, the safe sounded an alarm and automatically locked itself for 5 minutes.

After the temporary lock period ended, the authorities continued to ask Luong Bang Quang to cooperate in opening the safe. Despite having more time to figure it out, he continued to enter incorrect fingerprints, causing the safe to be locked for the second time. This continuous incorrect fingerprint entry reinforced suspicions about Quang's intention to conceal information.

After the safe was restored, Luong Bang Quang performed the fingerprint operation and succeeded. However, because the handle was broken, the technician still could not open the safe door. The technician said that opening the safe would take more time.

Faced with this situation, the Economic Police Department officers decided to seal the safe and bring it back to the agency's headquarters for handling according to regulations.

The authorities then opened the safe. The results surprised many people, completely contrary to Luong Bang Quang's statement that the safe "contained nothing important". Inside the safe, the authorities seized 80 land use right certificates (red books) and 8,000 USD in cash. In addition, there were 4 savings books with a total value of up to 3.2 billion VND. This is a valuable asset.

During the search, the police also temporarily seized two more luxury cars. The authorities are urgently clarifying the origin of all these assets to serve the investigation of the case of violations at the ZuBu Shop business and ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited, related to Ngan 98. The incident of Luong Bang Quang repeatedly pressing the wrong fingerprints, causing the safe containing 80 red books to be locked, has become a notable point, raising doubts about his honesty and cooperation with the investigation agency.
