It is known that SSay Huynh's real name is Huynh Tan Sang Sang, born in 1989. He is a former student of fine arts at Hong Bang International University, had a song in the top 10 of Vietnamese Songs 2012, wrote music for the series Lala School, Rap Viet season 2.

Currently, SSay Huynh is a freelance musician and creative director. In addition to his artistic activities as a musician and composer, he is also known to be very good at painting. Talking about his special stage name, the male musician once shared:

"SSay is simply the nickname his grandfather gave him after an accident when he was little. At a party, SSay's father gave him alcohol, then he got drunk and made a scene and even got electrocuted, so from then on his grandfather called him Say, and Huynh was his last name.

When he was in school, SSay was very afraid that his friends would discover this name and its past. When his grandparents were no longer with SSay, he really appreciated that name and decided to use it as his stage name."

According to SSay Huynh, when he first started his career in Ho Chi Minh City, he was introduced to artist Hoai Linh by friends and was supported by his senior in his singing career. Because of their close relationship, there was a time when the male musician was considered Hoai Linh's adopted son.

Unlike some other names in the same profession, SSay Huynh only specializes in writing about humane topics, from family love to social charity topics. Most recently, he attracted attention when launching a project calling for forest planting to protect the environment.

The male musician revealed that at first he invited the beauty queen from Dak Lak to sing with him. She accepted and was very enthusiastic about recording a line in the song. However, she later felt that her singing was not as good as she wanted, so she withdrew.

"Hen finished recording but felt that she could not express the emotions and messages of the lyrics, so she asked not to include them. Because this line is very important in the song. Next time, SSay Huynh writes a new song with simple lyrics, Hen will ask to sing it again because Hen is very passionate about music," the beauty queen shared with Tuoi Tre Online.

As for SSay Huynh, he expressed that through the project, he wanted to call on artists, experts and audiences: "Please do not be indifferent, take action against environmental change, protect the Earth". After the MV "Save Her Earth" was released on YouTube, the male musician collaborated with the Gaia Nature Conservation Center to plant the first forest trees.
