At the trial on September 20, Mr. An's representative said that he could only provide evidence that he had transferred 47 billion VND and 700,000 USD to Ms. Thuy. The plaintiff determined that the amount of money the defendant received when leasing these assets from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2023 was 98 billion VND. To prove this, the plaintiff provided the court with several rental documents. However, the defendant requested to provide the original for comparison.

Mr. An said that when the two divorced, Ms. Thuy owned, managed and exploited (leased) his assets worth about 300 billion VND. To date, the value of these assets is estimated at about 1,000 billion VND. The plaintiff said that after 16 years, only 1/3 of this property remained.
