In addition, the giant sued additionally asking Ngoc Thuy to return the amount of more than 422 million VND, 447,000 USD (total more than 10 billion VND) in three isolated bank accounts from 5/2008 to 2/2009. According to Duc An, this money originated from assets he sent back to Vietnam for investment.

In 2010, Mr. An filed a lawsuit with TAND HCMC. HCMC, demanding that his ex-wife return his property, which is believed to be Thuy in her name.
