Supermodel Ngoc Thuy was demanded by Duc An giant for an additional 78 billion VND before the trial date, Phan Nhu Thao made a strange move

The post-divorce property dispute of Dai Duc An and his ex-wife Ngoc Thuy continued to "heat" again when the U60 giant listed the properties that he had let his ex-wife own, along with the suspicion that the supermodel was deliberately delaying to evacuate her assets.

Accordingly, the litigation for assets worth VND 288 billion will be brought to trial for the first time on August 18, after 12 years of handling.

According to information from Dan Tri newspaper, Duc An said that currently, his lawsuit request has some changes compared to the original. Specifically, he demanded VND 67.8 billion from his ex-wife - equivalent to the value of her exploitation, use and lease of 9 luxury apartments in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City that he asked her to name. In addition, the giant sued additionally asking Ngoc Thuy to return the amount of more than 422 million VND, 447,000 USD (total more than 10 billion VND) in three isolated bank accounts from 5/2008 to 2/2009. According to Duc An, this money originated from assets he sent back to Vietnam for investment.

Earlier, citing news from Thanh Nien, expected, on August 18, TAND HCMC. HCMC will hear the first instance of the case "dispute over property ownership and division of common property after divorce" between the plaintiff, Mr. Nguyen Duc An (61 years old, US nationality) and Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thuy (former supermodel Ngoc Thuy, 43 years old).

According to the case file, Duc An registered his marriage with supermodel Ngoc Thuy in the US in 2006. During their time as husband and wife, because Duc An was an American citizen, he was said to "have to ask his wife in his name to own" 39 types of properties he bought in Vietnam. Specifically, because at that time Vietnamese law did not allow foreigners to own real estate in the country. Therefore, when he decided to get married, he asked his wife to name all assets including stocks, cars, dozens of apartments, plots of land, villas in large projects in Ho Chi Minh City. After their divorce in the United States in March 2008, the California Superior Court decided that "the assets in Ngoc Thuy's possession must be recovered" to be paid to An, "because they were purchased with his own money." However, Ms. Thuy later refused to pay the related assets, so Mr. Nguyen Duc An filed a petition with the court.

In 2010, Mr. An filed a lawsuit with TAND HCMC. HCMC, demanding that his ex-wife return his property, which is believed to be Thuy in her name. According to the lawsuit, An claims all of the property was purchased with his personal money, acquired before his marriage to former supermodel Ngoc Thuy.

Mr. Nguyen Duc An asked Ms. Ngoc Thuy to return some assets with an estimated value of VND 288 billion, including 9 luxury apartments, 1 villa, 19 land lots, 2 shares, 2 loans, 1 bank account, 7 cars, 1 motorbike ... According to An's wishes, after recovering all his assets from his ex-wife, he will "leave them to their children."

Supermodel Ngoc Thuy used to be one of the prominent faces of the Vietnamese fashion village in the 90s. She possesses a beautiful, sharp face and sexy appearance, so she is fondly called "Marilyn Monroe Vietnam".
