Starting from planting 1,000 bamboo stumps in 4 seasons on an area of 1 hectare, but due to inexperience, only 200 trees survived. With a price of 10,000 VND/kg, her bamboo shoots are always popular in the market thanks to their natural crispiness and sweetness.

Ms. Sang currently owns more than 40,000 bamboo trees in 4 seasons, with an area of 40 hectares, and her model has become "unique" in Dak Nong. Not only bringing income to her family, she also inspires and supports bamboo planting techniques for many other farmers in and out of the country.

After 7 years of exploration, she has expanded the bamboo planting area up to 40 hectares, helping her family earn more than 250 tons of bamboo shoots per year. Taking advantage of some uncultivated land, Mr. Thiem also boldly planted Bat Do bamboo to get bamboo shoots. Realizing that the Bat Do bamboo planting model is effective, many people in Ia Chia border commune also ask for seeds to plant in their gardens.

Mr. Thiem recalled that in 2018, he returned to his hometown of Phu Tho and noticed that the Bat Do bamboo planting model brought high economic efficiency. Mr. Thiem confided: "Bat Do bamboo shoots are big, the yield is many times higher than normal bamboo shoots. Each bamboo shoot weighs 3-8kg, the skin is thin, the flesh is white, thick, the core is small, and the meat percentage is over 85%."

Currently, fresh bamboo shoots are priced at 10-15 thousand VND/kg, dried bamboo shoots are priced at 220-250 thousand VND/kg. Last year, he also sold a lot of seeds to people in the village to replicate the model.
