Who is Mr Hunter - Le Khac Ngo who joined hands with Mr Pips to 'set a trap' and swindle 5,200 billion VND?

Mr. Hunter Le Khac Ngo is one of the two ringleaders in the "largest foreign exchange and securities fraud ring in Vietnam" along with Mr. Pips, and is currently wanted internationally.

Le Khac Ngo, also known as Mr. Hunter, in addition to regularly posting videos showing off luxury cars and sharing about financial investments on social networking sites, this subject also organizes many seminars "honoring" investors to attract victims.

In the transnational financial investment fraud ring, the Hanoi City Police investigation agency has prosecuted 31 defendants, including the two ringleaders Pho Duc Nam (TikToker Mr Pips , born in 1994, residing in Ward 8, Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) and Le Khac Ngo (nicknamed Mr Hunter, born in 1990, residing in Phu Dien Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City) for the crimes of "Fraudulent appropriation of property", "Failure to report a crime", "Money laundering", "Receiving and consuming property obtained by others through crime".

However, when the network was dismantled by the police, Le Khac Ngo - Mr Hunter quickly fled. Currently, the investigation agency has issued an international arrest warrant for this subject.

According to the investigation agency, previously, Pho Duc Nam and Le Khac Ngo worked as interpreters for a group of foreigners operating international securities in Vietnam. Afterwards, Nam colluded with this group to defraud and broker investors into the international securities market based on websites and links to about 24 international stock exchanges provided by the group of foreigners.

Nam discussed and assigned Ngo to establish 44 offices (24 offices in Hanoi) with 1,918 regional management, office management and sales staff. These offices are concentrated in central districts such as Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, Hoang Mai, Thanh Xuan and 20 offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Cambodia, Turkey, Thailand.

The subjects set up fake forex and stock exchanges, with interfaces similar to reputable exchanges in the world such as: gtmx, alpha trading, iqx, lodonnex, ibmex, iswiss, trust.

Because these are fake exchanges, the subjects can interfere with the system and always win the investors. For orders with small denominations, they will let investors win and withdraw money, then encourage them to invest more to get high profits, leading to losing all their money.

According to the reporter's research, Le Khac Ngo is also a famous TikToker on social networks with the nickname Mr. Hunter, often appearing in videos wearing luxurious clothes, shiny hair, wearing expensive watches... sharing information about stock investment, stock knowledge, market analysis, gold prices.

To build his image, Le Khac Ngo introduced himself as a self-made, independent investor, starting from zero, having stumbled on his career path. This person also "boasted" of starting a business at the age of 20 with a debt of 2 billion VND.

On social networks, there are also many contents "promoting" the image of Ngo with more than 10 years of experience, rising to become a "self-made millionaire" and leading many investors to overcome challenges, achieving impressive successes. Mr. Hunter Le Khac Ngo also constantly shows off supercars, expensive items and participates in charity activities on social networks to attract viewers, to stimulate and attract those who "want to be rich" to invest to be like him.

Not only showing off and sharing information about stock investment on social networks, Le Khac Ngo also organizes events and financial business seminars to meet and share knowledge about getting rich. He even "honors" some successful investors at the seminar with hundreds of participants to create trust and attract attention. Some of Mr Hunter's knowledge sharing sessions on gold prices and financial investment seminars are also published in newspapers for advertising.

To date, the investigation agency has identified 2,661 victims nationwide who made their first deposits totaling nearly 50 million USD. Currently, the investigation agency has received reports from 18 victims with a total amount of more than 28 billion VND stolen.
