Ms. Pham Thu Huong was born into a family with a long tradition of studiousness. She studied International Law in the Soviet Union, while Mr. Vuong studied economics and geology at the Moscow Geological Institute. The two met through a group of international students in the Soviet Union.

In 1993, Mr. Vuong graduated and married his college girlfriend, Ms. Huong. The couple moved to Kharkov and opened a restaurant called Viet Nam Thang Long. According to the Ukrainian newspaper Fast Salt Times, the restaurant was located at No. 5, Aminevskoe Highway, where many Vietnamese people lived in the 1990s.

With delicious and affordable food, the restaurant quickly became known to the people and visitors of Kharkov. To have capital to start an instant noodle business, Mr. Vuong and his wife took the risk of borrowing 10,000 USD from friends at an interest rate of 8%/month. They then continued to borrow from European banks at an interest rate of 12% to expand production to other products such as packaged dried herbs, potato powder, and soup.

From the initial establishment of only 30 employees, this type of noodles quickly became famous in the Kharkov food market, then spread throughout Ukraine. The Mivina brand later became the common name for all fast food in Ukraine.

From the success in Ukraine, Mr. Vuong and his wife expanded the factory, then brought the Mivina brand to more than 30 other countries around the world such as Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Germany, Israel... In addition to the first product of instant noodles, they also produced mashed potatoes, established a factory specializing in the production of spices, a factory specializing in packaging, which are subsidiaries of Technocom Group, the predecessor of Vingroup today.

Not only is she a successful businesswoman, Ms. Pham Thu Huong also has many charitable activities and makes positive contributions to society. She always supports charitable activities and contributes to educational, medical and cultural projects. In particular, Ms. Huong has many activities showing her love for the country and people of Vietnam.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, Vingroup Corporation, led by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and Ms. Pham Thu Huong, contributed hundreds of billions of VND to the Government's COVID-19 Prevention Fund, and produced ventilators and medical equipment to support the Vietnamese Ministry of Health.

In addition to her positive contributions to society and her business career, Ms. Pham Thu Huong is also a very beautiful woman with a luxurious fashion sense.
