The Kho Mu ethnic couple, Cut Van S, 20 years old, and Cut Thi P, 17 years old, residing in Ky Son district, Nghe An province, died on the spot.

Eight other people suffered multiple injuries, one with a broken arm, and were taken to Hue Central Hospital facility 2 in Phong An commune, Phong Dien district, more than 17 km from the scene. The victims all resided in Ky Son district, on their way to the southern provinces to tap rubber and harvest cashews.

Among them, patients Luong Thi K (24 years old), Cut Van N (1 year old), Luong Thi B (23 years old), Cut Van X (27 years old) and Linh Van K (13 years old, both residing in Ky Son district , Nghe An) was diagnosed with multiple injuries and is now alert and in good contact.

Many people said that the accident happened while the passengers were sleeping. A strong noise woke them up, many people were thrown onto the highway, everyone panicked.

Luckily, Mr. Kha Van P (born 1980, residing in Nghe An province) was still scared and said that on the morning of March 10, he and many people in Ky Son district took a bus to the Central Highlands provinces like Kon Tum. Tum, Dak Lak... to work as a rubber tapper.

As a passenger in the last row of the car, next to the couple who died, Mr. Cut Van T (23 years old, residing in Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district) was still in shock when recounting the incident.

According to T, he and his wife, victim Cut Van S, are from the same commune and went back to Binh Phuoc province together to tap rubber after the Lunar New Year holiday.
