The sleeper car's rear and part of the left side were broken. Debris and passengers' belongings were scattered within a radius of 20 m. Traffic through the area is congested.

The Kho Mu ethnic couple, Cut Van S, 20 years old, and Cut Thi P, 17 years old, residing in Ky Son district, Nghe An province, died on the spot.

Eight other people suffered multiple injuries, one with a broken arm, and were taken to Hue Central Hospital facility 2 in Phong An commune, Phong Dien district, more than 17 km from the scene. The victims all resided in Ky Son district, on their way to the southern provinces to tap rubber and harvest cashews.

Among them, patients Luong Thi K (24 years old), Cut Van N (1 year old), Luong Thi B (23 years old), Cut Van X (27 years old) and Linh Van K (13 years old, both residing in Ky Son district , Nghe An) was diagnosed with multiple injuries and is now alert and in good contact.

In addition, 3 other people, including Mr. Cut Van Mr. Cut Van H (25 years old, residing in Ky Son district) was diagnosed with facial trauma, multiple injuries and Ms. Cut Thi P (27 years old, residing in Ky Son district) had a broken kneecap and was transferred to the operating room.

The victims were all ethnic minorities, residing in Nghe An. They boarded the sleeper bus BKS 51B- 26149 to go to the South to work as a rubber tapper. Many people said that the accident happened while the passengers were sleeping. A strong noise woke them up, many people were thrown onto the highway, everyone panicked.

Luckily, Mr. Kha Van P (born 1980, residing in Nghe An province) was still scared and said that on the morning of March 10, he and many people in Ky Son district took a bus to the Central Highlands provinces like Kon Tum. Tum, Dak Lak... to work as a rubber tapper.

"While everyone was sleeping, suddenly they heard strong noises, then the bus shook. At this time, some people lying on the bus were thrown onto the road (passageway on the bus) and there were a series of screams. The buzzer was screaming. When they woke up and realized the car had had an accident, everyone was very confused," Mr. P shared.

As a passenger in the last row of the car, next to the couple who died, Mr. Cut Van T (23 years old, residing in Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district) was still in shock when recounting the incident.

According to T, he and his wife, victim Cut Van S, are from the same commune and went back to Binh Phuoc province together to tap rubber after the Lunar New Year holiday.

While sleeping, T suddenly woke up because the rear of the car was hit very hard and there was the sound of shards of glass falling.

"I heard loud screams from everyone in the car. Turning to the side, I saw that part of the car's body and windows were broken, Mr. Son and his wife and two other people were thrown onto the road, lying there. motionless. At that time, the whole passenger bus was in turmoil. Everyone was frightened and jumped up to escape from the crashed vehicle. When they got off the bus, everyone was shocked to see the people lying motionless on the road." , Mr. T recalled.
