Mr. Hoang Nam Tien's eldest son shocked social networks with his farewell letter to his father, the emotional last words made thousands of people choke and shed tears at the great loss.

The news that Mr. Hoang Nam Tien – Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University – died suddenly due to a stroke and cardiac arrest outside the hospital has shocked the online community, the technology and education world. After his unexpected passing, the touching words from his own children – especially his eldest son Hoang Nam Hai – have touched the hearts of many people.

On his personal page, Hoang Nam Hai – the eldest son of Mr. Hoang Nam Tien wrote a long emotional letter to announce the sad news and information about his father's funeral. In the letter, he could not hide his grief when he shared that more than 40 hours have passed since his father's death, everything is still like an unreal dream for him. He admitted that his father's passing was a big shock to the family, and thanked the great affection from friends, colleagues and the community for his final days.

Hoang Nam Hai also choked up and expressed: "The family in general and Hai in particular are very sad. But it's really fun and happy for you, when everyone's affection for your three children is so big."

Although not a good writer, Hoang Nam Hai still tries to express his deep feelings through simple but loving words. He borrowed the words of the great writer Tolstoy and adapted them to convey his feelings: "The years will pass, the wars will gradually cease to be silent, the revolutions will cease to scream, and there will be no embryos left without the tenderness, patience and love of my father's heart for us." The sentence is both sincere and full of symbolism that has made many people cry.

According to the announcement from the family, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien's funeral will take place in Hanoi on August 4 and in his hometown of Nghe An on August 6 – the place where he was born and has always turned his heart throughout his life. Earlier, his family also sent an invitation to his friends, colleagues and loved ones to say goodbye for the last time.

Not only Hoang Nam Hai, the eldest daughter Hoang Hai Nhu also made many people emotional when she wrote about her father after hearing the bad news. She choked up: "Dad, I'm going to visit you... Why don't you wait for me to come back... Life has ups and downs. Dad wasn't always at the peak as outsiders looked at. Mr. Hoang Nam Tien was born in 1969 in Nghe An, the youngest son of Major General Hoang Dan – one of the talented generals of the Vietnam People's Army – and National Assembly member Nguyen Thi An Vinh. He has held many important positions in the FPT system such as: Chairman of FPT Software, FPT Telecom , leading member of FPT Corporation.

In the last years of his life, he took on the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University, in charge of postgraduate training. Under his guidance, many generations of FPT students have had the opportunity to learn from a teacher who is not only good at his profession but also profound in leadership and human thinking.

Even though he is a person of work, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien always spends time taking care of his family. He has four children: Hoang Hai Nhu, Hoang Nam Hai, Hoang Hai Anh and Hoang Hai Mien. In which, the two eldest children are married. His children all have deep feelings for their father, not only the one who was born but also the one who inspires them to live and behave in life.
