The sudden passing of Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University, has left infinite grief. Recently, his eldest daughter, Hai Nhu, posted an emotional letter on her personal page.

Hai Nhu's article began with a sad question: "Dad, I came to visit this father... Why don't you wait for me to come back?" "Dad is not a perfect person, nor is he always the leader or idol that everyone sees. To me, my dad is simply the best friend I've had since I was born," she wrote. Hai Nhu also revealed that although Mr. Tien is decisive at work, he is very soft in love. Although she knows that her father may be at fault with many people, if she is chosen again, she will always want to be his daughter.

An ironic detail in the letter is that Hai Nhu admits that she is the closest person to her father, but she is the one who is the farthest away, knows the last news and comes back to the end. However, Hai Nhu believes that his father is not disappointed, because he always wants his daughter to live happily and freely.

At the end of the post, Hai Nhu revealed that his father would return to his final resting place in Nghe An, where General Hoang Dan (grandfather) and Mrs. An Vinh (grandmother) were located. Her farewell was full of hope: "I don't believe in reincarnation or Buddha. But if I get it again, I still want to bother my father to raise this anti-social child. This decision made even his former teacher (then the principal of the Amsterdam school) wonder. But Mr. Tien's reason is very simple: he does not want his children to have to study from morning to night, living under the pressure of achievement.

Mr. Tien said that when he left the specialized school, his daughter had time to live with other passions such as reading Japanese comics, cosplay (dressing up as cartoon characters). "I never force my child to try to become a valedictorian, or get a really high score. I want my children to learn and live with their passions. Later, my daughter is still grateful to me for that," Mr. Tien shared.
