According to people close to him, the video was recorded on July 29, just two days before he suddenly died. Looking at "Giao Tien", many people recognize abnormal signs of health. Although his face still kept a calm look, his gaze was full of internal strength, but his expression was clearly tired.

What made the audience even quieter was the contemplative sharing in the video. He spoke of life and death in a gentle tone, like a preparation, a message before leaving the world. "I think I'm not afraid of death, I don't set my life goal is to live a long life. His goal, perhaps should quote the sentence of his father - General Hoang Dan wrote: 'Healthy until death, healthy death'. And remember that life is experiences," he said.

Before leaving the temporary realm, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien - former Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Telecom, former Chairman of FPT Software is cherishing a small project that he calls "the last note written specifically for his mother". It is a poem he wrote himself, wishing to be able to sing for his elderly mother.

A man who was once illustrious in the tech industry, famous for his sharp statements and bold leadership thinking, when writing about his mother, returns to the image of a small son, longing to hug his mother once and for all.

On the day he was going to record and introduce two books written about his parents: Lieutenant General Hoang Dan – the commander of the Khe Sanh campaign and the 1968 Mau Than general offensive and Ms. Nguyen Thi An Vinh – a female member of the first National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, but the recording never took place again.

According to the family, the visitation ceremony for Mr. Hoang Nam Tien in Hanoi will be held from 9 a.m. on August 4 at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong. The memorial and funeral ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on the same day, after which the coffin will be cremated at the Hoan Vu Incarnation Hall, Van Dien.

In his hometown of Nghe An, the visitation ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 6 in Nam Kim Hoa hamlet, Trung Loc commune. The funeral ceremony will take place at 15:30 on the same day at the Cemetery of Nghi Thuan commune (old). The family asked for permission not to accept flowers to avoid waste.

Mr. Hoang Nam Tien was born in 1969 in Hanoi, the youngest child in a family with a tradition of intellectuals and military service.

Graduating in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, he joined FPT Corporation in 1993 and has been with FPT for more than three decades.

During his work, he held many important positions such as Chairman of FPT Software, Chairman of FPT Telecom. From 2023 to now, he has held the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University, in charge of postgraduate training.
