Previously, the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City sent a notice of mediation to the plaintiff, Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (sister of the late Artist Vu Linh) and the defendant, Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan (daughter of the late Artist).

Persons with related interests and obligations, including: Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong (grandson of the late Artist Vu Linh), Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu (younger brother of the late Artist Vu Linh), Huynh Thi Ngoc Yen Notary Office, People's Committee of Phu Nhuan District and a number of individuals living at No. 5 Doan Thi Diem, Ward 1, Phu Nhuan district.

At the mediation session, Ms. Nhung also asked the court to declare "deprivation of the right to adopt" the late Artist Vu Linh of the defendant Loan. The plaintiff argued that the documents including the Adoption Letter No. 5 Volume No. 1 and Birth Certificate No. 116 issued by the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan District to Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan on March 21, 1992 were all forged.

Defendant Vo Thi Hong Loan presented that she had provided sufficient documents and evidence proving that she was the legal child of the late Artist Vu Linh and the first heir. The defendant requested the court not to accept the plaintiff's request to initiate a lawsuit, and at the same time accept the counterclaim request to force Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung and Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong to relocate all their property from house No. 5 Doan Thi Diem.

A representative of the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan district presented that the procedures and processes for issuing identity documents to Ms. Hong Loan are valid and have provided full documents. The notary office also confirmed that the notarization procedures had been carried out in accordance with regulations.

The mediation session ended at about 10:30 after the parties signed the mediation minutes.

After the trial ended, Hong Loan immediately shared an attention-grabbing share. She wrote: "Forever a belief that always loves brothers and sisters, 100% do not hear or see, only believe in themselves forever as each other's family".

Previously, according to the content of the case, in June 2023, Ms. Nhung filed a lawsuit, requesting the court to cancel the inheritance declaration made by Ms. Loan on April 7, 2023 at the Notary Office of Huynh Thi Ngoc Yen for the estate of the late Artist Vu Linh.

Specifically, the inheritances including houses and land use right certificates at house No. 5 Doan Thi Diem according to the land use right certificate issued by the People's Committee of Phu Nhuan district on January 23, 2015, have been transferred to Ms. Loan; land use rights for land plots No. 87, 88 and map No. 8 in Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City according to the land use right certificate issued by the People's Committee of Thu Duc District (now Thu Duc City) on December 19, 1998 and the car has been transferred to Ms. Loan.

Ms. Nhung requested the court to cancel the update of changes on the land use right certificate and land-attached assets at No. 5 Doan Thi Diem and the land use right certificate for land plots No. 87 and 88 and map sheet No. 8 on the content transferred to Ms. Loan.

In the petition, Ms. Nhung requested to divide the inheritance of the late Artist Vu Linh for land rights plots No. 87 and 88 and map No. 8 to her and Mr. Nhieu.

At the end of July 2023, Ms. Loan and her lawyer went to the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District to file a counterclaim. Accordingly, she asked Ms. Nhung and Ms. Phuong to relocate all assets from the house No. 5 Doan Thi Diem mentioned above.
