After nearly a month, the final night of the Miss Grand International 2024 contest was held in Thailand on October 25. Beauty Rachel Gupta became the owner of the Miss Grand International 2024 crown. The titles of 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, 3rd Runner-up, 4th Runner-up respectively belonged to representatives of the Philippines, Myanmar, France, and Brazil.

On the evening of October 26, within the framework of the Miss Vietnam 2024 contest, director Hoang Nhat Nam also shared about Que Anh's results at Miss Grand International 2024. The male director shared: "This year, losing the in-top streak is really sad. However, we should also be honest to face and acknowledge that sometimes in a contest we have tried, but there are also many contestants who have tried just as hard.

Besides the factors of beauty and suitability, there is also luck. So we have to accept that we have been in the top for too long and we will give way to more competitive and luckier contestants. I think this is also the motivation to have more explosive Miss Grand Vietnam and have other girls with more potential and who can demonstrate the elements that Miss Grand International needs."

The director's statement caused controversy on social media when he used the word "give in" to talk about the achievements of the Vietnamese representative this time.

After the Miss Grand International 2024 Final took place, netizens were abuzz on groups, spreading the "huge" number of votes for Que Anh in this Miss contest. It is known that about 9,000 accounts voted for Que Anh with a fee of about 31 billion VND. In the end, Miss Grand Indonesia Nova Liana won the Miss Popular Vote award.

At Miss Grand International, the race to win Miss Popular Vote to enter the top 10 (equivalent to the title of 5th Runner-up) is always fierce. In 2023, the Myanmar beauty spent nearly 1.3 million USD to win this award.

The Miss Popular Vote category is conducted through paid online voting. For each vote for their favorite contestant, the audience needs to spend at least 1 USD (equivalent to about 25 thousand VND). This information somewhat makes the audience doubt whether the number 31 billion is true or not?

The transaction is made by depositing money into the voting account through linking an international credit or debit card. The points will be accumulated for the contestant until 20:00 on October 25. Successfully purchased votes will not be refunded under any circumstances.
