Miss Grand 2024: What are Que Anh's chances after the secret meeting with the judges?

On October 19, Vo Le Que Anh entered the closed interview round at Miss Grand International 2024. The Vietnamese representative said she had prepared carefully for this important competition. She was nervous but completed it perfectly.

Que Anh began with a short greeting to the judges in Thai. During the competition, the beauty introduced herself as a graduate of Korean Language and Culture at Hue University. In addition, Que Anh also expressed her love for the people and cuisine of the land of the Golden Temple. She is grateful for receiving so much love and support from domestic and international fans, especially Thai audiences.

When asked by Nawat President about Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Que Anh said that Miss Thuy Tien is the ideal role model that she always learns from. Looking at her senior's journey and efforts, Que Anh realized that: "If you believe in yourself, work hard, and improve yourself every day, everyone will recognize and support you."

Talking to Mr. Nawat, Mrs. Teresa and the reigning Miss Grand International Luciana Fuster, Que Anh shared her strong passion for music as well as singing and dancing. Que Anh confidently confided: "The entertainment market in Thailand is developing very well. Therefore, I think I am very suitable for Miss Grand International this year". The beauty queen also excited the judges when she revealed her plan to debut as a professional singer after the contest.

Finally, Que Anh and the contestants were asked the same question: who would they choose as the winner of this year's contest if not themselves. The Vietnamese representative named Thai beauty Malin Chara-anan.

Que Anh explained: "We are roommates. We share many things with each other so I can understand her personality and feel her character. Especially, I know that Malin is always ready to work."

The clip recording Que Anh's answer is being shared widely online, leading to debates. Many viewers believe that for the difficult, comparative question, Que Anh should have answered more tactfully by sharing her strengths and how she uses them, instead of continuing to mention the story that was not supported by the audience like the way she answered at the contest's kick-off party.

However, there are also opinions that sympathize with Que Anh and think that Mr. Nawat asked a rather sensitive question.

Up to now, Que Anh is in the top 15 outstanding catwalk contestants, with the opportunity to compete for the Swimsuit Beauty award, but she failed to make the top 3 of Grand Voice. Her performance is considered safe, not a breakthrough. In the list of predictions from beauty websites, Que Anh is not in the group of potential contestants. Representatives from the Philippines, Peru, Thailand, Curacao, Spain... are the most notable candidates.

Immediately after the closed interview round, Miss Que Anh will participate in the national costume show tomorrow (October 20). The semi-final night is scheduled to take place on October 22. The final round of Miss Grand International 2024 will be held on October 25.

Up to now, Que Anh's achievements at the Miss Grand International 2024 contest include top 10 Best In Swimsuit voted by the audience and top 14 Grand Voice Awards.

According to the latest update from Miss Grand International 2024, Miss Grand Indonesia - Nova Liana surpassed Miss Grand Myanmar to take the first place in the rankings with 37% of the audience votes. Meanwhile, Miss Grand Myanmar - Thae Su Nyein - a strong candidate for the highest position in the contest, dropped to 2nd place with 32% of the votes.

Previously, the Miss Grand International 2024 contestants had a trip to Pattaya from October 11. At a beach party in Pattaya, Vo Le Que Anh caused controversy because of her bold cut-out outfit, revealing her bust and a high slit up to her hips. Many viewers thought that the dress was too revealing and could easily put the beauty in an embarrassing situation.
