Official trial of model Nhikolai Dinh's drug use case, court date set

In connection with the case, defendant Trinh Thi Hoa (56 years old) and her two sons Trinh Ba Hao (36 years old) and Trinh Ba Hoa (34 years old, both living in Ho Chi Minh City) were tried for the crime of illegal trading of banned substances.

The judge presiding over the trial was Ms. Tran Thi Que Huong. The representative of the District 1 People's Procuracy attending the trial was Mr. Pham Hoang Hai. The court summoned 8 people with related rights and obligations and 7 witnesses to the trial.

Nhikolai Dinh was arrested.

According to the case file, on the afternoon of June 13, 2024, District 1 Police and related units conducted multiple patrols on the streets of District 1. During the patrol, the authorities discovered Nhikolai Dinh and 9 others were carrying illegal substances on their bodies, so they were asked to go to the ward police station for inspection.

At this time, the authorities seized more than 0.2 grams of banned substances hidden in Nhikolai Dinh's shoes; the remaining 9 people also possessed from 0.1 grams to more than 0.4 grams of banned substances for use.

Nhikolai Dinh confessed to buying illegal substances from Trinh Thi Hoa, Trinh Ba Hao, and Trinh Ba Hoa for personal use, but was caught red-handed before he could use them. Expanding the investigation, District 1 Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Trinh Thi Hoa and her two sons Trinh Ba Hao and Trinh Ba Hoa for buying and selling illegal substances.

During the investigation, Trinh Thi Hoa confessed that she met a person of unknown origin through social media. Hoa bought illegal substances from this person, then divided them into small amounts to sell for profit and assigned her two sons to help sell them.

Nhikolai Dinh was born in 1995, with mixed Vietnamese and Russian bloo.d. Standing at 1m92 tall, Nhikolai Dinh chose to become a model.
