Nhikolai Dinh is a Vietnamese-Russian hybrid, born and raised in Russia, then returned to Vietnam to work as a model at the age of 18. He became known after participating in Vietnam's Next Top Model 2013 contest. After that, he appeared on the fashion catwalk, winning the show at Vietnam International Fashion Week.

As reported, on the afternoon of June 13, scouts "cast a net" to catch 10 drug addicts including: Nguyen Huu Thanh Cong (born 1990, living in Thu Duc City), Nguyen Van Minh (born 1993, living in District 1), Vuong Trong Quoc (born 1989), Nguyen Van Thanh (born 1979, lives in District 7), Doan Thanh Lam (born 1994), Nguyen Phong Vuong (born 1995, lives in District 3), Mus Sa Fa (born 1998, lives in District 4), Nguyen Minh Truong (born 1992, residing in District 8), Diep Le Chi Khang (born 1992, residing in District 10) and model/male king Nhikolai Dinh when these people illegally possessed banned substances.

At the police station, the subjects declared that they knew a woman and her two sons selling banned substances at a house in an alley on Nguyen Trai Street, District 1, so they often came to buy them to get "high".

Expanding the investigation, the police identified the woman selling banned substances as Trinh Thi Hoa, who has two previous convictions for banned substances. Hoa lived with her two sons, Hao and Hoa, who rented many different houses to live in and hid banned substances to sell to drug addicts.

On the morning of June 14, scouts arrested Hoa while preparing to sell banned substances to drug addicts and confiscated many exhibits. Hoa's two sons were also arrested by the police later.

Searching the residence, the police confiscated many plastic packages containing banned substances hidden in the toilet, altar, cabinet...

Hoa admitted that through social relationships, Hoa knew a strange young man and had the intention of illegally buying banned substances from that young man to sell for illegal profit.

This person contacted the young man to buy banned substances many times, brought them home to divide into many small packages to sell to addicts for 250,000 VND/package.

On June 10, Hoa continued to buy 2 boxes (10 packages of banned substances), divided into 48 small packages. On June 11, 12, 13, Hoa sold nearly 20 packages.

On the morning of June 14, Hoa had just sold 3 packages of banned substances to customers for 750,000 VND when he was arrested by the police and confiscated the remaining 26 packages of banned substances.

Currently, the case is still being investigated and clarified by District 1 Police, Ho Chi Minh City.
