The remaining 85% of the inheritance value belonged to Hong Loan (Vu Linh's daughter).

According to the court's ruling, Hong Loan is obliged to refund Hong Nhung 15% of the value of the inheritance. After completing the refund obligation, she has the right to request Ms. Hong Nhung and her daughter, artist Hong Phuong, to move out of the house of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh (house number 5 Doan Thi Diem).

Winning after nearly 2 years of litigation, however, recently, the daughter of the "king of reformed opera" has filed a partial appeal against the verdict of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court. Accordingly, Hong Loan disagrees with the fact that her aunt is entitled to 15% of the inheritance.

Recently, when sharing with Ngoi Sao, Hong Phuong (Hong Nhung's daughter, Vu Linh's niece) said that she and her mother had learned about Hong Loan's appeal and felt that this was the personal right of the person concerned. The female artist added that she still wanted to keep her uncle's house to use as an ancestral house.

Hong Phuong shared: "If Loan feels unsatisfied with the court's decision, then she can appeal. That is the personal right of the litigant. My mother said the most truthful things in court, so she was in a good mood after the trial. What my family is aiming for is the truth. I just hope to keep my uncle's instructions and decisions when he was alive, which was to give me the house at 5 Doan Thi Diem to use as a family house, and not to sell it."

Although she feels "okay" with the ruling to inherit 15% of her uncle's estate, Vu Linh's niece said she and her mother are considering appealing.

Regarding the lawsuit for inheritance rights, Hong Phuong shared that she understood that her uncle never wanted this to happen. The female singer confided that during his lifetime, the late artist placed his feelings and artistic expectations on his niece. Recently, Hong Phuong has been under a lot of pressure from slanderous accusations and has been in a situation where she is not allowed to work.

As for Vu Linh's daughter, right after receiving the court's verdict on January 7, she said she would not divide the inheritance for her aunt and would appeal. Hong Loan shared on livestream: "Everyone saw, the one who sued was not me, the one who demanded this and that was not me. The land and the car are still in my father's name, the other side was divided 15% but our side did not accept, so we had to appeal. I would rather take that amount and do charity, accumulate merit for my father than give it to people without conscience. There is no way I will divide it."
