Since childhood, Cha Mi lived in lack of love due to frequent separation from her mother. When Cha Mi was 3 months old, her mother had to go to Hanoi to work, and her sisters took care of the farm work. Right from the moment Cha Mi was born, her father was very sad because she was not the son he expected. Cha Mi's childhood was hard years. Parents work as farmers in a remote district in the midland mountainous area of Phu Tho province. In the year of high school graduation exam, due to difficult family circumstances, her parents did not direct her to attend university. Cha Mi said: "When determining my family situation like that, I decided to apply to the University of Pedagogy because I didn't pay the tuition fees, and the money for accommodation, no matter how difficult it is, I will self-suffering". In the end, her parents decided to let her do as she pleased. She enrolled in school and stayed at her aunt and uncle's house. Outside of school hours, Cha Mi looks for a part-time job to take care of living expenses and daily meals.

However, she faced a lot of pressure with the accommodation, but because the circumstances did not allow, the girl continued to pursue her studies until the 3rd year. She shared: "I study hard and determined to take the exam. I entered pedagogy as a teacher Not because I love teaching too much, but because studying this major will not worry about tuition fees. After passing the exam, I went back to work to earn money to take care of my education expenses. I can do whatever anyone hires me.I even send money back to my hometown to help my parents.A daughter in college can do this!

But, at one point, I thought that now my family can't afford it, and I don't know anyone, so when I graduate, how can I get a job? If I don't have a job, how will I live? Then I registered for Vietnam's Next Top Model contest to find a chance to change my life. Just like that, my relentless efforts paid off. I entered the modeling village just because I wanted to get out of poverty and earn money to support my parents.
