Previously, on August 22, Noi Bai Airport Police Station received a complaint from Ms. N.M.A (German nationality) that on August 22, she flew Hanoi - Cam Ranh flight at Noi Bai Airport T1 terminal, with a red suitcase.

When she arrived at her hotel in Cam Ranh, Ms. A found her suitcase unlocked. Checking the property inside, she found that a set of white wireless headphones and 500 euros were missing.

Noi Bai Airport Police Station then took part in the verification and search for the culprits. Soon after, one task force was quickly dispatched to Cam Ranh to meet the victim for work and another team conducted a review of information at the airport.

The leader of Noi Bai Airport Police Station said: "The police coordinated with the Aviation Security Center to review the entire development of the flight that day... By professional measures, the police questioned the above 5 people."

At the police station, the group confessed that on August 22, five people worked the same shift. Their task is to load and unload guests' checked baggage at terminal T1.

Initially, the subjects confessed to discussing and agreeing with each other in the process of transporting checked baggage, if they find any luggage easy to unlock, they will check for theft of property.

At noon on the same day, Thinh discovered that the lock of the female passenger's suitcase was uncertain, so he snatched the lock, stole the headphones and 500 Euros. In the process of stealing property, the subjects will guard each other to avoid detection.

The above assets, Thinh kept the headphones to use and brought 500 Euros to exchange more than 12 million VND to share.

According to the head of the Hanoi Airport Police Station, with the evidence obtained by the investigating agency, the suspects admitted to breaking the lock and stealing property from N.M.A's checked suitcase.

The subjects confessed, with similar tactics, to have committed several previous thefts of property.
