Bao Hoa: Popular SM "fled" to the US after sensitive photo scandal, now tight-lipped

Bao Hoa was born in 1985, 1.7 m tall. She used to be a phenomenon of the Vietnamese fashion village in the 2000s with her slender physique, sharp, cold face and impressive catwalk ability.

Quickly gained popularity in the country

Starting when Bao Hoa was in grade 11, she was lucky enough to catch the eye of the famous French creative director – Henri Hubert, who used to work at the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam.

Although according to the aesthetics of Vietnamese beauty in particular as well as Asia in general, Bao Hoa is not really attractive. But from the perspective of this French expert, Bao Hoa has many advantages to become a model: moderate height, personality and liveliness in front of the camera. Thanks to these advantages, Bao Hoa was chosen by Ford modeling agency, through the representative of fashion designer Pierre Cardin, to represent Vietnamese models at the Super Models Of Ford contest held in the Dominican Republic on 25/12/2002. Bao Hoa reached the top of the contest but because she was only 17 years old, she could not sign an employment contract with a foreign modeling agency because she was not of working age.

Since then, the name Bao Hoa has been "respected" by the domestic fashion world. In 2005, Bao Hoa was "dotted" as the main character in the 25-episode TV series Doc Love. At the age of 20, Bao Hoa really became a "phenomenon" in the Vietnamese entertainment industry with certain successes in his career.

5-year love affair with creative director - Henri Hubert

In addition to receiving admiring looks because he quickly became famous at a very young age, Bao Hoa also had many malicious rumors accompanied by jealous eyes, flossing ... Not only was he accused of fighting and making shocking statements, Bao Hoa also "sticked" the suspect of falling in love with Henri Hubert as a springboard for advancement.

However, the young model's 5-year romance with this French expert partly erased doubts in the hearts of the adoring public.

This love affair broke up for a few years, many rumors said that model Ha Anh was the "3rd person" to step into this affair. However, Ha Anh denied it.

Find opportunities to develop an international career

Bao Hoa was one of the first models to speak out about nude photography, after her sensitive incident. She said: "There's nothing wrong with taking this picture." After a series of difficulties, Bao Hoa's modeling path has real turns.

She entered the American fashion scene as an exclusive model for the New York Model Agency in 2006. Bao is a lovely abbreviation that the fashion world in New York often calls Bao Hoa. Along with more than 14 famous Asian models (10 women, 4 men) working and living here, Bao Hoa also has to work non-stop, like the slogan running on a big billboard right at the New York airport: To live in New York, Today you in, but the next day, you may out.

Bao Hoa's image constantly appears in leading fashion magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Cosmo Girl, In Style, Marie Claire, GQ ... and occasionally appeared in many domestic shows. She is one of the rare Vietnamese model names with more or less names in the international fashion village.

In the United States or elsewhere, there is competition, but with New York, the competition is much fiercer. In return, if successful, you can refuse attractive offers in other countries. Therefore, even if there are just over 10 Asian models, it is enough to "compete" crazy. Work starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Just an hour wrong, it is considered that the contract has been canceled. Or if you get sick, someone else will immediately take your place and forever you won't get a second chance.

"Touching the lane" with the Hollywood movie capital

Since moving to the US, Bao Hoa has only lived in New York (pictured). For her, the city is vibrant and there are many opportunities for models from all over the world.

In 2013, Bao Hoa again attracted attention when collaborating with director Neill Blomkamp in the blockbuster film "Elysium" (Paradise). Although she is only a cameo and appears in the first few seconds of the film, she has an extremely charming and impressive shirtless performance.

She appears in the 35th second of the Elysium commercial, playing a girl in an orange bathing suit, lying in the cancer de-virus engine chamber. It can be said that up to this point, Bao Hoa is the Vietnamese artist who has advanced the deepest into Hollywood. In the cast list, the words super model Nguyen Huynh Bao Hoa appear prominently and clearly in the film.

Outside of work, the supermodel spends most of her time experiencing life by traveling long distances. In everyday life, Bao Hoa is idyllic, wears little makeup, likes to eat well and take photos at beautiful places.

Bao Hoa has a passion for food. Every time she returns to Vietnam, she enlists to go to many shops to enjoy delicious dishes. Despite eating a lot, she kept her slim figure. Bao Hoa attributed this to his mother's genes.

Bao Hoa is very private in his private life. In America, she is married and has two children. The model has never shared photos of her husband and children with the public, although she often takes her family to visit her hometown.
