This is not only an opportunity for fans to directly witness their idols shine on stage, but also an opportunity for BABYMONSTER to connect more closely with the fan community in Vietnam.
Besides Vietnam, the group will also visit China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia...
BABYMONSTER is a new generation girl group under YG Entertainment - the management company behind the success of BLACKPINK, 2NE1, BIGBANG and many other top K-pop artists.
Debuting in 2023, the group quickly made a splash thanks to their excellent performance skills, powerful vocals, and strong, individual musical style. Songs like "Batter Up", "Stuck In The Middle" and "Sheesh" quickly conquered domestic and international charts, helping BABYMONSTER affirm their position as one of the most prominent rookie girl groups today.
With impressive stage presence and professional performance style, the band promises to bring eye-catching performances to Vietnamese fans during this tour.
Although a prominent name in the Kpop music industry, Baby Monster often causes controversy.
Recently, a Japanese newspaper published the results of a survey to determine the least talented K-Pop girl group. The survey was based on 500 people in Japan, in which Babymonster received the highest number of votes (166).]
Some of the reasons given by those surveyed were that Babymonster looked too similar, had no personality, and was unable to stand out from the crowd. Others said that YG Entertainment's new group lacked appeal when compared to other K-Pop girl groups of the same generation.
However, this result immediately caused controversy in the K-Pop music fan community. Babymonster is a group carefully selected through YG's survival program, so the girls all have good vocal and dancing skills. On music shows, the 7 members also showed their outstanding live singing ability, so the group being ranked as "the least talented K-Pop girl group" made the audience extremely angry.
In addition to YG's group, aespa and Le Sserafim were also on the list. aespa received 79 votes, which was considered to lack diversity and uniqueness. aespa's appearance on the list caused outrage as the group was considered one of the groups with the best live singing skills of the 4th generation.
BABYMONSTER was drowned out by YG, created an old image, invested in posters for the sake of it, cheesy and outdated Đình Như12:27:09 22/06/2024After releasing a poster introducing the comeback on July 1 for rookie girl group BABYMONSTER, YG Entertainment was criticized by people for its rustic and unfashionable aesthetics.
