At around 1am on February 14, when she woke up, she did not see her son lying next to her. She and her husband got up to look for him and found the door slightly open but the chil.d and the dog were not at home. According to Truc Anh, normally before going to bed, the family usually locks the door tightly from the inside, but that day the lock was probably a bit loose, allowing the chil.d to go out. "Maybe when the chil.d left the house, the dog followed," she said.

The couple shouted and asked the neighbors around to help them find the bo.y. The search for the lost bo.y.
