Previously, Dung had borrowed 5 million VND from Ms. H. (31 years old, living in Hai Binh KP; she is a friend of Dung's aunt) for many years but has not yet paid. After that, Ms. H. assigned Dung's debt to Ms. L. and her husband (living in Hai Binh KP.) with the amount of 3 million dong. Ms. L.'s husband asked Dung to pay and threatened to beat him if Dung did not pay.
