Previously, on January 12, a male TikToker named VML posted on his personal page an article titled: "I was kicked out of the shop because I was in... a wheelchair!". Specifically, L. said he and his girlfriend went to a pho restaurant in Hanoi. Due to congenital paralysis, he had to use a wheelchair. When they asked the staff to carry people and cars over the steps, they were refused with the answer "my shop doesn't have staff to carry people like you".
After being successfully uploaded, the famous TikToker's post quickly attracted public attention, receiving more than 40,000 likes, more than 20,000 comments and shares with many mixed opinions.
Many people expressed frustration with the pho restaurant's actions in discriminating against people with disabilities. Besides the few people who appear to believe in this story and sympathize with VML, the majority of netizens are skeptical that this is an untrue story.

Afterwards, a representative of the pho restaurant on Nam Ngu Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) confirmed that TikToker VML is a regular customer of the restaurant, often eating pho in the evening. On the morning of January 12, this man and his girlfriend went to the shop.
Because the entrance to the restaurant was small and it was raining, the owner invited two people to sit at the opposite cafe and then had the staff serve pho. However, L. still wanted to come in and be welcomed by the restaurant normally.
Also according to this person, the male TikToker and his girlfriend sat at the first table, behind the owner. The shop owner also reminded him not to sit in this position next time, because it made it difficult for them to sell.
The male customer was still smiling and eating normally, but later posted information on social networks implying that he was being scorned by the restaurant. The owner of the pho restaurant affirmed that she never uses vulgar language to drive away customers, especially people with disabilities.
Faced with public outrage, the shop extracted the camera at the time of the incident. According to the camera image, when VML and his girlfriend entered the restaurant, because the path was too narrow (less than 1 meter), the owner and staff moved the furniture and the noodle basket to another location so that the wheelchair could move. enter the shop.
